Teen Leadership Hernando Graduation On Monday, May 13, 2019 the 2nd annual Teen Leadership Graduation was held at the Fox Chapel Middle School Cafeteria. The Teen Leadership program is a student analog of Leadership Hernando program put on by the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce (GHCCC). The Leadership Hernando program has been helping develop leaders in Hernando County since 1992. Hundreds of local leaders have graduated from Leadership Hernando and now teen leaders are being developed. The Teen Leadership program is sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber Education Training Association (CETA). The students get to meet with local leaders and learn about what is going on in the county. The students work on developing their knowledge in areas including Team Building, Criminal Justice and First Responder, Government and Entrepreneurial. This is a wonderful opportunity for selected middle school students in Hernando County. The program is funded through grants and will hopefully continue to provide this learning experience for our students.
