ANALOG DRAFTING

SECTION A-A OF BACKYARD USING REAL TEXTURES COMPARED TO ANALOG

Exploring ways to design these sections of the backyard with real textures was a great experience into exploring how you can physically understand the details in the work that have been put into it. With using our own freestyle of textures to our liking, there’s really any style that we can put into our work. As with the plants and trees, playing around with what plants go well with each other was fun to practice and learn from when we begin to design our own projects in the future.

SECTION B-B OF BACKYARD USING REAL TEXTURES COMPARED TO ANALOG

Comparing analog with digital is to show how much improvement has occured during the semter. Each section has their own different feel and experience to it, I figured it would be better to switch up some textures that have been used in the other section, as well as adding a couple of different plants.

PLAN OF BACKYARD USING LIVE PAINT

Working on digital scaling rather than in analog is faster and easier at times, it still was great that we learned both ways to create this plan with different tools and styles. Given with how much technology has improved so much in the years, it shows just how quick and efficiently it has helped many experienced and learning students how to work on these types of projects.

AXONOMETRIC OF BACKYARD USING LIVE PAINT

Digital axonometric with live paint was super fun as we were given creative freedom with our choices of color. What I learned from this project was just how to use shade in certain areas of a specific object and creating a more detailed drawing to give it a more 3-dimensional look that it already is. By applying color to the drawing, it gave it more life to its axon view.

SECTION A-A & B-B OF BACKYARD USING LIVE PAINT

Working with color on digital drawings helps with our design as it allows us to create our own works even though each one of us have the exact same digital drawing. With color we change how our drawings look to others and gives them an understanding of who created what.
