DESCRIPTION: Social Housing project for informal settlers with the intent to develop a self-sustaining community by farming, recycling, reusing, and creating crafts from every part of a banana plant. Planned to provide homes for 30 families, and a marketplace open to the public
SUN PATH AND WIND ANALYSIS
The site is adjacent to Manila Bay, which is advantageous to the residents in having a captivating view of the Manila Bay sunset. It was also one of the foundations for executing the overall design in ensuring that each unit has a view of Manila Bay. Utilizing Manila Bay, using the second landfill became feasible by using boats to transport wastes dedicated to recycling.
