Picnic fun for everyone! Hermann Sons Life members from all generations gathered at Hilltop Camp on Sept. 18 for the first Membership Appreciation Picnic. Bill Woody, left, and wife Mary Ann braved the zip line. The 85-year-old member of Spring Branch Lodge was all smiles as he went zipping down the line. Several people also tried their hand at archery including new Regional Sales Manager Gearard LeFore Jr. and his son, below. Other outdoor activities included swimming and GaGa. Inside the Dining Hall, there was a chance to win a prize at the Sales Department booth and play dominoes and do arts and crafts. The meal included grilled hamburgers right off the pit with smores and chocolate chip cookies for dessert. More than $1,200 was raised in a raffle benefitting the Comfort Volunteer Fire Department with more donations still coming in at presstime. More photos on Page 5.
