Flood relief efforts under way SAN ANTONIO – As the water recedes and the cleanup effort begins, Hermann Sons Life is responding to the recent flooding in the Hill Country. Assistance is being offered in two ways. The immediate response was to deliver 100 buckets filled with cleaning

supplies to the Office of Emergency Management in Burnet County. The Home Office also has established the Hill Country Flood Relief Fund and is now accepting donations from members and lodges. The donations will be presented to the Llano County Chamber of Commerce. See FLOOD, Pg. 2

Camp welcomes new executive director Hermann Sons Life Camp has a new Executive Director. His name is Ian “Gunner” Brassett. Ian has officially been on the job since Oct. 8. He had been living in Pennsylvania and arrived in Comfort the weekend before just in time to meet the agents who were attending their Continuing Education Workshop at Hilltop. Ian brings extensive experience to the position, having spent more than 30 years working at two of the country’s premier private summer camps.
