PRINZ SOLMS LODGE assisted the Bulverde Community Center with its annual Chicken Dinner in observance of Join Hands Day. The lodge hosted the cake booth at the event held in April. Members donated pies and cakes for the booth and $800 was made in sales. Members also assisted with cooking and serving. Entertainment included members of the Hill Country School of Dance students. Proceeds go toward the center’s operation costs. LAUBACH LODGE members cleaned Lone Oak Cemetery in Seguin in observance of Join Hands Day. They cleaned out old flowers, trimmed weeds, trees and shrubs.

LA VERNIA LODGE joined with Thrivent Financial on May 5 for a Join Hands Day project. Members cleaned up the Kicaster Cemetery, an old community cemetery maintained by volunteers. The service team trimmed tree limbs, shrubs, cut down and hauled away dead trees, cuttings and old deteriorated flowers. Volunteers pictured are Robert Reeves, Darleen Reeves, Donna Prater with Darleen’s grandson, Tony Prater and Troy Stork.
