Summer Junior Operation 36

Our Summer Junior Operation 36 programs are just around the corner! Don’t forget to register your junior golfer for one of the fastest growing programs in the country!

Why join Operation 36?

Operation 36 is centered around on-course improvement

Rather than preparing for months to get on the course. We will be having our first 9-hole event in Week #2. All golfers will start at 25 yards from the green, rather than the tee box, giving the beginners an earlier chance for success. We are all working together to beat the course and improve enough to shoot 36 or better.

Weekly Small Group Classes with a Curriculum

Instead of the occasional clinic or lesson, our program will be offered weekly to increase practice and performance. Our coaching staff will deliver the Operation 36 curriculum in a fun and social environment each week. We will also participate in weekly games/activities to sharpen our skills with one another.

Earn points for playing/practicing and tracking progress

Participants will be able to log when they practice and play to earn points for their profile and our community. We will compete with other communities around the world playing Operation 36 in monthly challenges. The more we play and practice outside of class, the more points we earn and the higher we move up the leaderboard. After each 9-hole event, the coaching staff will log your scores in the app which will help to track your progress in the program.

No Driving Range, Now What?

It has been a few weeks now that ICC has gone without a driving range. Some have adapted and overcome, while others, are still scratching their heads and trying to figure out a way to “get loose” before the round. No one likes going from the car straight to the 1st tee without getting the body warm, but without a range to hit a few drives, what else are we supposed to do?

2.

Orange Whip trainers are on the 1st tee to help you get ready for your round. What is an Orange Whip and how does it work? The patented, counterbalanced, flexible shaft swing system provides the necessary feedback to train your swing to stay on plane, balanced, and powerful.

1. SuperSpeed Golf sticks are on the 1st tee as well! If you ’ ve been around me for more than a few minutes, then you will know that I preach hitting it further and don’t lay up! SuperSpeed is a great way to train your swing to swing faster! By adding 1 MPH of ball speed, you can add up to 3 yards to your drive!

ICC Fitness and personal training is a great way to keep your body ready! Our ICC Fitness team can help you get ready for your round with a few exercises that can have your body feeling loose and ready for action! The best players in the world are hitting the gym to “get loose” before a round, so why don’t you? It takes 30 minutes and can improve your golf game and your quality of life!

So the next time you come to the course for your tee time don’t forget these simple ways to get warmed up
