RobCiapanna GeneralManagerOne of the biggest topics of conversation I have with people is about cart traffic. “They are driving here,” “Can’t you put a rope or sign up?.” Yes, I would love to keep people from driving where they aren’t supposed to, but that’s unfortunately not how people are wired.

o things regarding cart traffic:
1. Keep all four wheels on the path when parked or driving. Cartpath edge turf typically wears out faster than most because of constant abuse from tires, and
2. Don’t drive the same path all the time. Don’t make a cattle trail. Yes, I know you are trying to go the shortest route, but that’s not always the best, and when we say 90 degrees, we don’t mean drive to the fairway immediately after you hit your tee shot. Use the cart path, then turn 90 degrees to your ball.
