Nine Holers

February’s newsletter article was a beautiful write-up by Joan Hazel while I was cruising in the Mediterranean for 3 weeks. Thank you, Joan and all the others that kept our 9 holers playing smoothly.

Stephanie Beeder and husband John were our hosts for the quarterly invite with spouses for our monthly night out. Sounded like we missed a delicious fun-filled evening.

On February 23, we had an end-of-month scramble with the 1st place team scoring a 40: Cathy Vetrano, Sue Walker, Joan Hazel, Mary Ann Shallcross

We also had 2 chip-ins: Kathy McGown, Stephanie Beeder

For March, Barbara Scotti was our DOM “director of the month”. We had 2 weeks of our Ringer tournament. Results will not be given out until December at our end-of-year award luncheon.

Barbara came up with 2 fun rounds of Golf Bingo scoring which captured some of the frustrating, humorous, irrelevant, and rewarding experiences that are very often part of the game. On the first round of Bingo, we recorded a range of experiences that were anywhere during the day's golf round (could be meaningless, or could be we are all just great at working through the challenges of the game).

Our first round of Bingo was won by Rhonda Heuple.

The second round of Bingo was played on March 23rd, with Rhonda Heuple winning again!!
