The gantry crane, often referred to as the Goliath crane, is supported by its own legs and is typically employed outside where there are no gantry beams or columns.
In situations when there is no shed structure to support the load, it can still be used indoors. For some activities, it can also be utilised as a supplement to the EOT. Depending on the need, it can have a single or double girder.
Crab/trolley and panels are given with a fully covered canopy for outdoor use.

For the double girder gantry crane, hoist brakes can be offered with thrusters or DC drum brakes.
