IAR Braşov a obţinut un profit net de 28,7 milioane lei, în 2018, în creştere cu 18,8% faţă de anul anterior, se arată într-un raport transmis joi Bursei de Valori Bucureşti (BVB), informează Agerpres. Cifra de afaceri afaceri netă a companiei a urcat de la 192,725 milioane lei la sfârşitul lui 2017, la 264 milioane lei la 31 decembrie 2018. Veniturile din exploatare au fost de peste 296 milioane lei, în timp ce cheltuielile de exploatare s-au ridicat la 263 milioane lei. La 31 decembrie 2018, IAR avea active totale de 323,06 milioane lei şi datorii curente de 93,021 milioane lei. IAG's British Airways picks the 777X to modernize a major part of its long-haul fleet 777X builds on 777 and 787 Dreamliner technology; will be world's largest, most efficient twin-aisle jet LONDON, Feb. 28, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Boeing [NYSE: BA] and International Airlines Group, the parent company of British Airways, announced the airline has committed to purchasing up to 42 777X airplanes, including 18 orders and 24 options. The airline joins a group of leading carriers that have selected the new 777-9, which will debut next month as the largest and most efficient twin-engine passenger jet in the world. The commitment, valued at up to $18.6 billion at list prices, will be reflected on Boeing's Orders and Deliveries website once it is finalized. "The new 777-9 is the world's most fuel efficient longhaul aircraft and will bring many benefits to British Airways' fleet. It's the ideal replacement for the 747 and its size and range will be an excellent fit for the airline's existing network," said Willie Walsh, IAG chief executive. "This aircraft will provide further cost efficiencies and environmental benefits with fuel cost per seat improvements of 30 per cent compared to the 747. It also provides an enhanced passenger experience." British Airways has been modernizing its fleet – one of the largest in the airline industry – to more efficiently serve its extensive global route network. In recent years, the airline has introduced the super-efficient 787 Dreamliner family to replace its medium-sized widebody jets. The new 777-9 will replace British Airways' larger widebody airplanes, mainly the four-engine 747 jumbo jet. In ordering the 777-9, British Airways extends a long-running relationship with the popular 777 family. The airline is one of the largest 777 operators with a fleet of nearly 60 of the long-range jet. The airline last year committed to four more 777300ER (Extended Range) jets via operating lease. The 777-9 is larger and has a slightly wider cabin than current 777s, which provides the ability to comfortably sit 400-425 passengers in a standard two-class cabin. Powered by 787 Dreamliner technologies, an all-new composite wing, and other enhancements, the 777-9 offers airlines 12 percent lower fuel consumption than competing airplanes. The 777-9 can also fly farther than its predecessors with a standard range of 7,600 nautical miles (14,075 kilometers). The 777X will also debut a redesigned cabin that incorporates popular 787 features and new technologies. Recently unveiled online, the 777X interior offers larger windows, a wider cabin, new lighting, while providing passengers with a smoother ride, better cabin altitude, humidity, and sound quality. "British Airways is one of the most iconic international carriers, now in its 100th year of connecting the world with its impressive route network. We are honored that British Airways has selected the 777X as part of its fleet for its next century. Production of the 777X began in 2017, with first flight planned for this year and first delivery expected in 2020.

Vietjet has purchased 100 additional Boeing 737 MAX airplanes, taking their MAX order book to 200 jets. During a signing ceremony in Hanoi, Vietnam, United States President Donald Trump and Vietnamese Communist Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong joined leaders of both companies to unveil the order valued at $12.7 billion, according to list prices. The deal, previously unidentified on Boeing's Orders & Deliveries website, includes 20 737 MAX 8s and 80 of the larger 737 MAX 10 variant. At 43.8m (143ft 8") long, the 737 MAX 10 can seat a maximum of 230 passengers. In ordering 80 737 MAX 10s, Vietjet becomes the largest Asian customer of the airplane type. The carrier plans to use the added capacity to meet growing demand across Vietnam, as well as to serve popular destinations throughout Asia. Currently, Vietjet offers more than 385 flights daily on 106 routes. Vietjet placed its first order for 100 737 MAX airplanes in 2016, which set the mark for the largest commercial jet purchase in Vietnam's aviation sector at the time. In addition to airplane purchases, Boeing will partner with Vietjet to enhance technical and engineering expertise, train pilots and technicians, and improve management capabilities at the airline and in Vietnam. Powered by CFM International LEAP-1B engines, the 737 MAX family includes design updates such as Boeing's Advanced Technology winglet that reduces drag. The 737 MAX has 5,000 orders from more than 100 customers worldwide. Also during the presidents‟ meetings in Hanoi, Bamboo Airways confirmed an order for 10 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners valued at $3 billion at list prices. The order was previously unidentified on Boeing's Orders & Deliveries website. Bamboo Airways, a startup airline founded in 2017, plans to connect Vietnam with key markets in Asia, Europe, and North America using the Dreamliner. At 63m (206ft) – 6m (19.7ft) longer than the original Dreamliner – the 787-9 can fly 290 passengers in a two-class configuration up to 7,635nm (14,140km). The 787 Dreamliner widebody airplane has more than 1,400 orders from 75 customers since its launch. Nearly 800 Dreamliners have entered service around the world.

AN/ASQ-239 system updates improve warfighters‟ ability to conduct critical missions in contested airspace BAE Systems, a leader in electronic warfare (EW) technology, today announced a critical program milestone with the successful insertion of new technology into its EW systems for the global fleet of fifth-generation F-35 Lightning II fighter aircraft. Upgrades to the AN/ASQ-239 system position it to meet future capability requirements and improve warfighters‟ ability to conduct critical missions in contested airspace. The improved EW system delivers the world-class functionality of the previous system in a smaller footprint, reducing volume and power requirements – creating space for Block IV modernization upgrades. The system update also resolves issues with manufacturing obsolescence that would have otherwise required costly redesign work. The company‟s capacity expansion strategy – including a $100 million investment in 80,000 square feet of state-of-theart manufacturing space, process automation, and the growth of its highly skilled electronic warfare workforce by more than 23 percent – enabled BAE Systems to become the first F-35 supplier to insert updated technology into its systems at full production speeds – delivering 11 systems monthly and ramping production to match aircraft production. The Digital Channelized Receiver/Techniques Generator and Tuner Insertion Program (DTIP) technology was introduced into BAE Systems‟ manufacturing process in 2018, with the first deliveries starting in July. The team is consistently providing 11 shipsets per month, enabling the company to continue ontime delivery to its customer. “We‟ve delivered almost 400 EW systems to date, and now we‟ve updated the architecture and are manufacturing it at a high rate of production. This technology insertion gives the EW system room to grow, and will help the F-35 maintain its dominance of the electromagnetic spectrum,” said Deborah Norton, VP of F-35 Solutions at BAE Systems. “The successful insertion of DTIP was the result of the outstanding focus, dedication, and teamwork of our engineering and production teams working in close coordination with our customer.” The advanced F-35 EW system is a proven digital electronic warfare/ countermeasures suite that provides pilots with real-time battlespace situational awareness and rapid-response capabilities. The ASQ-239 system provides fully integrated radar warning, targeting support, and self-protection capabilities to engage, counter, jam, or evade threats to improve survivability and mission effectiveness. The system builds on BAE Systems 60-plus years of EW experience and legacy of providing 13,500 tactical systems for more than 80 different platforms, including F-22, F-16, F-15, B-1, B-2, and classified platforms. Viorel Manole spune că industria românească națională speră că fie se va adjudeca licitația, fie „în cel mai rău caz se va relua”. „Ar fi pentru noi o nouă deziluzie să de transforme într-o achiziție G2G (Guvern la Guvern). Aceste achiziții au fost în mod eronat trecute în legislația română, în care aceste contracte au fost introduse ca excepții la legea offset-ului. Nu este normal ca celelalte țări din jurul nostru, mereu am dat exemplul Poloniei, să nu aibă o asemenea excepție, cum nu a fost normal ca noi să introducem excepția în lege”, a precizat Viorel Manole, într-un interviu acordat DEFENSE ROMÂNIA. El a atras atenția urgenței unei asemenea achiziții, având în vedere situația geostrategică și geopolitică din zonă, dar și obligațiile „pe care le avem ca țară membră NATO și UE”. European missile specialist MBDA has brought out the big guns at Avalon 2019, with a suite of advanced strike systems to support the ADF’s growing aerial strike capabilities with a specific focus on AIR 7003 and the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. Recognising the opportunities presented by Australia's continued recapitalisation programs across Air Force, namely the acquisition of the fleet of F-35 Joint Strike Fighter and the recent AIR 7003 decision, MBDA has sought to showcase a series of advanced weapons systems designed to enhance the strike capability of the Royal Australian Air Force and its next-generation air combat capability. Following the government's announcement in late 2018 that General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc (GA-ASI) and its Reaper family of armed unmanned aerial systems (UAS) had been selected as the preferred medium-altitude, long-endurance (MALE) aircraft for the ADF, European missile and aerospace specialist MBDA has kicked off its mission to provide Australia's fleet of UAS with a next-generation strike capability. Russ Martin, head of TMO military advisers at MBDA, outlined the specificcapabilities on offer to the Royal Australian Air Force based on the successful development and integration of key platforms in the UK. "The UK has been working with Australia for some time on the F-35 and we have seen success between Canada, Aus and the UK on the reprogramming facility in the US, which can be expanded to include weapons systems," he said. Each of the Reaper variants are operated from a common ground control station and are air-transportable by RAAF C-130 Hercules and C-17 Globemaster airlifters, or independently deployable, providing Australian expeditionary forces with a highly capable, reliable and persistent close-air-support, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance asset, no matter the variant chosen. Meteor is currently being integrated onto the F-35. SPEAR: MBDA‟s response to recent conflicts that have demonstrated the need for precision strike weapons that can operate night and day in all weather conditions against severe countermeasures and, importantly, attack moving and manoeuvring targets. Powered by a turbojet engine, SPEAR has over double the range of any glide bomb on the market, providing true beyond horizon reach to ensure that the aircraft remains safely away from hostile air defence units. Weighing under 100 kilograms and extremely compact, up to eight SPEAR missiles can be carried internally by the F-35. BRIMSTONE: A lightweight (50 kilograms) strike missile with an advanced dual-mode mmW/SAL seeker offering a unique capability of engaging a wide range of target types, including fast moving vehicles/vessels in both land and naval environments and in both direct and indirect modes. Operationally proven with unequalled mission success rates across multiple theatres, Brimstone has proved to be unique in its ability to perform surgical strikes in time and collateral critical missions. Brimstone is the only missile that has been proven for use from all platforms – UAVs, fast jets, helicopters, maritime and surface platforms. MMP: The only fifth-generation anti-tank missile in service today, and it has been designed for dismounted infantry as well as for integration on man and unmanned combat vehicles. MMP is unique in featuring both fire-and-forget and operator-above-the-loop operation, in having a selectable effects warhead, and that in being network-enabled MMP can also receive third party target designation for indirect firing scenarios. 1. We, the Presidents of Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and the Slovak Republic, have gathered in Košice in the Bucharest 9 platform for consultation and dialogue to: - commemorate the 70th anniversary of the North Atlantic Alliance, as well as the 20th and 15th anniversary of the accession of our respective countries to NATO; - reaffirm our strong commitment to collective defence, as enshrined in the Article 5 of the Washington Treaty based on solidarity, shared responsibility and the indivisibility of Allied security; - exchange views on current security threats and challenges and ways how to address them. We appreciate the presence of the NATO Secretary General today. 2. For the last 70 years, NATO has served as the bedrock of security in the EuroAtlantic area. It remains the unique framework for our collective defence, transatlantic Page 18 of 34
dialogue and plays irreplaceable role in protecting our values and safeguarding security of our citizens and our territories. Our membership in the Alliance created an opportunity to fulfil aspirations of our nations and provided the security and stability for economic development and well-being of our societies while advancing the vision of Europe whole, free and at peace. At the same time, our countries have been strengthening their capabilities to contribute to Allied collective defence.
3. As we meet today, we face the most difficult security challenges in a generation. In the spirit of 360 degrees approach, the Alliance should continue to be ready to respond to all threats and challenges from wherever they arise. We have, therefore, every reason to make our Alliance stronger and to ensure that the transatlantic bond remains as solid and effective as ever. We are determined to work towards this objective, including through our commitment to spend 2% of the GDP on defence, modernising our defences and engaging in operations. We welcome and support strengthened military presence of the United States and Canada in Europe, particularly on NATO‟s Eastern flank. 4. The threats and challenges we face are complex, often unpredictable and coming from all directions. No country can fully address them alone. They range from conventional and hybrid forms, including cyber, to terrorism, regional instability, irregular migration, proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and threats to our energy security. We are faced with an intense use of disinformation and propaganda. Traditional lines between military and non-military warfare are fading. 5. Today, we are better prepared to confront the current security challenges. Our countries contribute to Alliance‟s adaptation. In the spirit of allied unity, solidarity and fair burden sharing, we underline the importance of NATO´s forward presence from the Baltic to the Black Sea, as well as other initiatives aimed at strengthening our ability to defend our citizens and territories as part of the allied collective effort to strengthen NATO‟s deterrence and defence. We also support the implementation of the strategic, focused and coherent NATO approach to the South. We acknowledge the participation in relevant NATO activities, including the mission in Afghanistan as part of the efforts towards peace and reconciliation. 6. We remain particularly concerned with the ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine and recent tensions in the Azov and Black Seas stemming from the illegal and illegitimate annexation of Crimea and military build-up. This is another manifestation of Russia‟s disregard of international law, its confrontational pattern of behaviour and use of military and also non-military actions, such as the construction of the Kerch Strait Page 19 of 34
bridge, to advance its geopolitical goals. All of this calls for even more coherent and strategic approach from the Alliance. We are also gravely concerned by Russia‟s material breach of the INF Treaty and failure to return to full and verifiable compliance, which led to the suspension of the Treaty and the United States‟ notification of withdrawal. We continue to take necessary steps in the Alliance to ensure the credibility and effectiveness of NATO deterrence and defence posture and remain firmly committed to the preservation of effective international arms control, disarmament and non-proliferation. 7. We reiterate our support to NATO‟s approach on Russia based on strong deterrence and defence, and openness to dialogue as agreed since Wales Summit with a view to avoiding misunderstanding, miscalculation, and unintended escalation. 8. The anniversaries of our countries‟ accession to the Alliance reminds us how crucial NATO´s Open Door Policy has been for enhancing security of its members, for peaceful reunification of Europe and for stability of the whole Euro-Atlantic area. We will continue to support further NATO enlargement in line with the Article 10 of the Washington Treaty. We welcome the recent signing of the Accession Protocol and look forward to the Republic of North Macedonia becoming the thirtieth NATO Ally. 9. We remain committed to the security and stability in the Western Balkans, an area of strategic interest to the Alliance, and will continue the political dialogue and practical cooperation with partners in this region. We also reiterate our firm support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, Georgia and the Republic of Moldova, within their internationally recognized borders. While pursuing their respective European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations, these countries will continue to benefit as well from our support in their efforts to strengthen their resilience against any external interference. At the same time, we reiterate that progress in reforms should be based on democratic values, respect for rule of law, human rights, and full compliance with their respective international commitments and obligations. 10. We believe that stronger NATO and stronger EU are mutually reinforcing. Together they can better provide security and peace in Europe, in our neighbourhood and beyond. We are supporting an enhanced EU role in security and defence through developing initiatives in this area in full complementarity and synergy with NATO. We are determined to strengthen NATO-EU strategic partnership and cooperation. 11. We look forward to December NATO Leaders´ Meeting in London that will enable us to take stock of implementation of decisions we took in Wales, Warsaw and Brussels and advance adaptation of the Alliance to address security threats and challenges we face. We remain committed to continue meeting in the Bucharest 9, platform for dialogue and cooperation, as a means to consult each other, promote joint approaches and contribute to Euro-Atlantic security.

În contextul deținerii de către România a președinției Consiliului Uniunii Europene, joi, 28 februarie a.c., la Palatul Parlamentului, a avut loc reuniunea în format de înalți funcționari UE-SUA, ce are ca obiectiv principal schimbul de opinii pe teme relevante din domeniile justiție și afaceri interne. De asemenea, reuniunea a avut ca scop pregătirea agendei reuniunii ministeriale a dialogului UE-SUA, care va avea loc în luna iunie 2019. Dialogul UE-SUA pe dimensiunea externă a domeniilor justiție și afaceri interne este unul tradițional și are loc semestrial, pe durata fiecărei președinții rotative la Consiliul UE. Din partea UE, participanții la dialog sunt Președinția în exercițiu a Consiliului UE, Comisia Europeană, Serviciul European de Acțiune Externă, Secretariatul General al Consiliului, EUROPOL, EUROJUST, Coordonatorul UE pentru lupta împotriva terorismului, precum și viitoarea Președinție a Consiliului, respectiv Finlanda, în calitate de observator. Din partea SUA, au participat înalți funcționari din cadrul Departamentului pentru Securitate Internă, Departamentului de Justiție, Departamentului de Stat. Reuniunea de la București a fost prezidată de domnul Cătălin Necula, secretar de stat în cadrul Ministerului Afacerilor Interne, respectiv domnul Page 21 of 34
Sebastian Constantin COSTEA, secretar de stat în cadrul Ministerului Justiției, și domnul Alexandru Victor MICULA, secretar de stat în cadrul Ministerului Afacerilor Externe. În ceea ce privește dimensiunea afaceri interne, pe agenda reuniunii, Președinția română a introdus teme legate de continuarea cooperării și a schimbului de opinii cu SUA în domeniile combaterea terorismului, gestionarea migrației și politica de vize. Referitor la lupta împotriva terorismului, s-au purtat discuții despre stadiul acordului UE-SUA privind PNR (Registrul cu Numele Pasagerilor), cooperarea pentru combaterea conținutului terorist online, amenințările la adresa securității, schimbul de informații. Cu privire la migrația și politica de vize, s-au abordat chestiuni legate de combaterea contrabandei, a traficului cu migranți, precum și cu privire la politica de vize a SUA în relație cu cele cinci state membre UE care nu beneficiază de reciprocitate în materie de vize. În ceea ce privește dimensiunea justiție, agenda reuniunii a oferit cadrul unor discuții referitoare la mai multe subiecte de interes comun, precum reziliența sistemelor electorale, securitatea și libertatea în spațiul cibernetic, accesul transfrontalier la probe electronice. În materie de cooperare judiciară internațională, au fost subliniate provocările existente, inclusiv în ceea ce privește statele terțe. De asemenea, a fost abordat domeniul protecției datelor, din perspectiva Regulamentului General privind Protecția Datelor (GDPR) și a implementării Acordului – Umbrelă. Reuniunea a constituit un bun prilej pentru consolidarea relațiilor juridice dintre toate părțile implicate. Totodată, în cadrul reuniunii a fost prezentat programul viitoarei Președinții finlandeze a Consiliului Uniunii Europene, în al doilea semestru al anului 2019.

Ministerul Finanţelor Publice Obligațiile fiscale restante ale persoanelor fizice nu vor mai fi publicate pe site-ul Agenției Naționale de Administrare Fiscală, conform unui proiect de ordin publicat astăzi la rubrica Transparență decizională. Proiectul va pune în aplicare modificările Codului de Procedura Fiscala și va determina ANAF să publice doar restanțele la buget ale persoanelor juridice. De asemenea, se reglementează și situația în care un debitor are de recuperat sume de la stat, (sume de rambursat/restituit de la buget ori sume de încasat de la autorități contractante ale statului român), caz în care acești debitori nu sunt considerați că înregistrează obligații fiscale restante, astfel că nici contribuabilii în această situație nu vor fi publicați pe pagina de internet a ANAF. ”Ne dorim un climat fiscal echitabil fundamentat pe încredere reciprocă, atât de necesară unei dezvoltării sănătoase a mediului antreprenorial românesc. De asemenea, intrăm în normalitate și încetăm expunerea inutilă a contribuabililor, deoarece este mai importantă recuperarea restanțelor decât spectacolul mediatic.” a precizat Eugen Teodorovici, ministrul Finanțelor Publice.
