The Board of Education reserves the right to extend the school year or to modify the school calendar in the event that makeup days are not su cient to meet the 180-day requirement for students by the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR 13A.02.01.04 – Length of the School Year) and the 190-day requirement for teachers by Negotiated Agreement (Article 7.2-Work Year). The school year may be extended through June 19, 2026, and/or other modi cations to the school calendar may be necessary for students and teachers. *Additional make-up days could include but are not limited to November 26, April 3, and April 6.
