NOVON’s unique formula gives White Dental Beauty gels an unsurpassed accelerated bleaching action which is safe, effective and kind to the teeth. The patented active ingredient in White Dental Beauty gels, has a novel inherent feature, in that it remains stable at neutral pH in the syringe, yet upon dilution a rapid pH increase occurs. This pH increase, from neutral to alkaline, produces an enhanced release of perhydroxyl ions resulting in a more effective bleaching action.

It is important for gels to be water based, as peroxide dehydrates the teeth, our gel helps to keep it as hydrated as possible, whilst remaining at the optimum viscosity.

Potassium nitrate Our gel also contains potassium nitrate (KN03) – potassium, nitrogen and oxygen. This is a desensitizer, it penetrates the tubules as the gel is oxidizing the tooth, and depolarizes the nerve, and prevents re polarization.

Mint flavour

Exclusive to this product range we have created Mild 5%CP gel which, because of NOVONÂŽ, means that this gel can be used on patients with sensitive teeth that still want to whiten.

Viscous gel formulation The gel holds the tray in place just as much as the tray holds the gel. Tray design is important in any bleaching procedure and there must be a good seal around the gingival margin, regardless of reservoirs on the labial surface. This gel will not run out of the trays as it is viscous without being too sticky and maintaining optimum water content.

Many products contain glycerine to prolong the shelf life of their products. This can make the gels taste bad and can be hard to mask. Our gel does not contain glycerine, therefore, it is a very fresh pleasant mint flavour, leaving them feeling fresh and clean as well as whiter.
