REBA MAXINE (Hinote) HADLEY MOLEY was born May 27, 1918, to Joseph C. Hinote and Irene May Rader, Hinote in Putnam County, Indiana. She had one sister, Erma Hinote Pitts. They grew up on a small farm near Reelsville, Indiana. Their social life was church activities and friends in the neighborhood.
Reba always knew she wanted to be a teacher. After graduating from what is now Indiana State University in Terre Haute, she taught for three years in the one-room school she had attended as a child. It consisted of grades 1 through 8.
She was married to L. Elmer Hadley February 22, 1938. They had one daughter, Carolyn J. Hadley, Botner, born October 17, 1940. She spent the next few years raising her daughter, and in 1950 she continued her teaching career. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Indiana State University and spent the next 40 years in the Vigo County School Corporation as a first grade teacher and in the Title I program. She retired at age 75.
After 50 years of marriage, Elmer passed away September 17, 1988. Five years later, she married James H. Morley on October 16, 1993, and they spent 4 ½ happy years together until James died in February 1998.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Ron Botner of Plainfield, IN, two grandsons, Kipp Botner of Avon, IN, and Kent Botner of Canton, Ohio. She has four great grandchildren, Ian Richards, and Amanda, Carson, and Spencer Botner, one niece, Bonnie Gick, of Lafayette, and one nephew, Larry Pitts, of Crawfordsville.
Reba was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church South, a life member of the National Education Association, Vigo County Retired Teachers Association, Indiana State Teachers’ Association, and Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority for Women Educators.
Services will be 1 p.m., Friday May 7, at Conkle Funeral Home Avon with visitation 11 a.m.-1 p.m. before the Service. Burial will be in Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery, Reelsville, Ind. CONNIE JO GAR- LAND, 57, Brownsburg, passed away May 1, 2021.
She received her Bachelor Degree from Indiana University and was a research assistant at IU Health and Riley Hospitals. She was a member of the Avon United Methodist Church and member and past president of the Turner’s Syndrome Society of the US.
Her father, Charles Thomas Cox, preceded her in death.
Connie was the loving and very proud mother of Martina Sutton, her daughter she personally adopted in Bulgaria.
Connie was a member of a very large and loving family. Other survivors include her husband John Garland Jr.; mother Shirley Cox; brother Timothy Cox (wife Suzanne); sister Cathy Babcock (husband Bruce).
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 6, at 2 p.m., at Avon United Methodist Church, 6850 E. US Hwy 36, Avon.Friends may call from 1-2pm Thurs. at the church. JAMES D. MAHAN, 80, of Coatesville, passed away May 3, 2021. He was born June 14, 1940 to the late James G. and Lucy (Latimer) Mahan in Birmingham, Alabama.
He was a sheet metal worker for Kirk & Blum of Indiana for 43 years retiring in 2001. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 20, Belleville Masonic Lodge #65 and the OES #414.
James is survived by his wife, Eunice M. (Mabrey) Mahan; two sons, David Ray (Christine) and Andy (Tammy) Mahan; three brothers, Robert, Rodney (Glenda) and Arnie (Debbie) Mahan; a sister, Mary Tallar; 4 grandchildren, Jean Marie Gallo, Lindsay Mahan, Jeniffer Mahan, and Jeremy Mahan; 3 great grandchildren, Owen Query, Hailey Gallo, and Andrew Gallo.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Saturday from 1 p.m. until service time at 3 p.m. ________________________

LONNIE O. THOMPSON, 87, Brownsburg, passed away May 4, 2021.
Lonnie was a US Army Veteran and a long-time member of Connection Pointe Christian Church. He had been a design draftsman for Rotz Engineers for over 40 years, retiring in 1999.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Ruby Helfer and Wilma Strader.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Thompson; children Elisa (Marc) Rifkind and Blaine (Jinjer) Thompson; brother Charles Thompson; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild. V isitation will be from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, May 7, at Connection Pointe Christian Church in the Chapel (Enter through Door 10). Funeral services will be there at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at West Ridge Park Cemetery. In compliance with current conditions, it is recommended that guests wear masks and observe social distancing.

MELISSA “LISA” K. BENINGER, 63, Pittsboro, passed away May 4, 2021.
Lisa loved doing puzzles of all kinds and enjoyed working with young people and planning activities for them. She enjoyed antiquing and had a passion for cooking and enjoyed trying new recipes for her family.
She retired from the Brownsburg Parks Department as the coordinator in charge of before and after school programs.
Lisa is survived by her husband David Beninger; children Lindsay Beninger and Justin Beninger (wife Jamie); brother Kelly Bearl; sister Jodie Braun; a granddaughter Jessie Beninger.
There will be a memorial visitation from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, May 13, at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg.

ALEXANDER JUSTIN LARR, 33. of Indianapolis, died April 7, 2021.
He was born March 13, 1988 and was the son of Michael J. and Janet Corcoran Larr. Alex leaves behind his son, Grant Michael Larr and fiancée, Jessica Ridge.
He was a competitive fisherman, coached youth soccer, and most recently was Head Coach of the girls’ soccer program at Plainfield High School. He was a graduate of Avon High School and attended Indiana State University, where he was a member of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity. He had been employed at Marion Community Corrections in Marion County for several years.
In addition to his parents, son, and fiancée, survivors include his siblings, Abigail C. Larr and Maxwell T. Larr; grandmother, Margaret Brunker Larr McFrye; nephews, Dane Hendricks and Malik Jelks; nieces, Ryanna and Mila Jelks; and several uncles, aunts and cousins.

CHARLOTTE A. LIN- VILLE-LOFTIS, 77, of Franklin, passed away April 27, 2021.
She was born May 11, 1943 to the late Kenneth and Ruth (Buenten) Archer in Indianapolis. She was a retired factory worker.
Charlotte is survived by a son, Michael (Katherin) Jenkins; two daughters, Gloria (Alan) Batts, and Nina (Ronald Bennett) Sager; a step-son, Dennis Linville; a brother, Ronald Archer; a sister, Janet Hasselburg; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Howard J. Linville and James Loftis.
Funeral services were Friday, April 30, in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Burial followed at Clayton Cemetery.

ROBERTA A. SCOTT, 78, of Plainfield, passed away on May 1, 2021.
She was born in Emporia, Kansas on March 17, 1943 to the late Robert and Alice Wasson. Roberta was a social worker for several different companies over the years in Kansas. Her legacy of caring lives on through the families she helped throughout her career. She enjoyed doing ceramics and crocheting in her free time. Roberta loved spending time with her family.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 15, from 1:30 to 3:30 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home.
Survivors include her daughter, Melissa (Jason) Williams; brother, Jack (Ann) Wasson; cousins, Scott, Kelly and Kim; grandson, Gavin Williams.

GEORGE C. SHERRY, 86, of New Port Richey, Fla., passed away April 26, 2021. was born November 28, 1934 to the late John and Mabel (Kingham) Sherry in Indianapolis. He was a US Army veteran of the Cold War Period and was stationed in Alaska (when it became a State in 1959) at the Dew Line between Russia and the US.
He worked over 30 years for Allisons Division of GM in graphic arts retiring in 1983.
George is survived by three brothers, Frank E. (Dianna) Taylor, Jack (Rossella) Taylor and Carl (Anne) Taylor; and a sister, Shirley (Owen) Burch.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Butterworth.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in New Port Richey, Fla.. Arrangements by Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.

RICHARD LEE RUN- NELLS, of Coatesville, passed away Thursday morning, April 29, in his home at Heritage Lake.
Rich was born to Glen Runnells and Mary Jo Ann (Campbell) Hays in Danville on May 6, 1973.
He leaves behind his wife Mary (Aynes) Runnells; daughters Jordyn Runnells of New Market, Mia Runnells of Coatesville; granddaughter Addison; brother Glen (Lisa) Runnells of Roachdale; nieces Nicole, Samantha, and Cassie; newphews Josh and Alan, and lots of extended family and friends.
He was preceded by his parents and sister Glenda Jo Bundy.
Rich was an avid gun enthusiast and believed in the Constitution. He loved motorcycles and was a huge Notre Dame fan. Rich was his girls’ biggest sports fan and cheerleader and the best team “mom.” He loved to indulge his granddaughter Addie in painting his toe nails and doing his makeup.
Services were Monday, May 3, atBousley Funeral Home, Coatesville. Burial followed in the Coatesville Cemetery.

MARK JOHN KIMBRO, 62, of Avon, passed away peacefully in his home on April 21, 2021.
He was born to parents Harry P. Kimbro and Marilyn A. Kimbro on March 12, 1959, in Beech Grove, Ind. He married Kimberly, the love of his life, on July 10, 1987.
Mark is survived by his daughter Crystal Kimbro and her husband Joe Schiattareggia; his grandsons Jas, Brayden, Keegan Schiattareggia; his son Christopher and his wife Hannah Kimbro, granddaughter Scarlett Rae Kimbro, his brother Michael T. Kimbro and wife Donna Kimbro.
Mark was known for his hard work and creativity, in which he and his wife transformed into a successful business for over 33 years.
Mark spent his life creating memories for his wife, two kids, and beloved grandchildren. If Mark was not working, he could be found in the yard, by the fire with his dogs, or on a beach with his family.
The memorial service took place Tuesday, May 4, at Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, with burial to follow.

WILMA SUE (Napier) PUGH, 76, passed away at her home Thursday evening, April 29, 2021, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Grapevine, Kentucky to the late John and Lizzie (Noble) Napier. Wilma was a graduate of Danville High School with the class of 1963.
Funeral Services took place Monday, May 3, at the Harvest House International Church in Mooresville, Ind. Burial follow in the Clayton Cemetery.
Wilma worked for many years at the Hendricks County Hospital and at several nursing homes as a nurse’s aide, as well, she worked as a custodian at the Hendricks County Courthouse.
Wilma enjoyed traveling overseas with her husband, Donald, and taking many road-trips across the country where she enjoyed shopping and a good yard sale. She was a member of Harvest House International Church.
Survivors include her husband Donald R. Pugh of Mooresville, children, Dennis B. (Angela) Lofton, Avon, Lori (Jeff) Myers, Port Charlotte, Fla., Jennifer M. Bauer, Austin, Tex., step-children, Candice (Rick) Harrison, Mooresville, Emmitt R. (Angela) Pugh, Mooresville, David (Amanda) McDaniel, Mayo, Fla.; sister, Jerema (Leon) Robertson, Indianapolis; brothers, Jessie (Carol) Napier, Danville, Caren Napier, Middleton, Fla.; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Wilma was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence “Sonny” McDaniel, sisters, Bonnie Keye, Reva Combs and Barbara Graham and step-son, Arthur K. Pugh.

MARTHA ANN GOOLDY born on June 11, 1949 in Crawfordsville and passed away on April 23, 2021 in Plainfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Frances Gooldy of Crawfordsville, a stepbrother Bruce Johnson of Bloomington, and a nephew Brian Achenbach of Kokomo.
She is survived by her partner Jim Boone in Plainfield; siblings Susie (Gooldy) Achenbach (Ralph) of Tipton, Ind., John Gooldy of Noblesville, Ind., ste sister Judy Johnson (Jack Crandall) of Bloomington; nieces Laurie Gooldy (Sean) Huff of Scotland, Sandy Gooldy Walker (Dusty) of Amarillo, Tex., Dale Lee Achenbach of Anderson, and a nephew, Wade Achenbach (Shelly) of Zionsville.
Martha graduated from Crawfordsville high school in 1968 and had also attended a year of high school in England. Upon graduation she attended Butler University where she obtained her B.A degree and was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She obtained her Master’s degree in education from Indiana University. Upon graduation she taught Reading at the Rushville Middle School from 1975 to 2007 and coached girls basketball. She also belonged to Psi Ioa Xia philanthropic sorority.
Martha belonged to a book club in Rushville and then, upon moving to Plainfield, started another book club with friends. She also enjoyed Bluegrass music, skeet shooting, and especially enjoyed attending the Clowes Memorial Hall performances with friends from Rushville, and Indianapolis Repertory Theater with Plainfield and Indianapolis friends. She was a Master Gardener and enjoyed working in her vegetable and flower gardens. Martha was a marvelous cook and enjoyed looking through cookbooks. When a friend’s daughter was going through severe postpartum depression, she provided comforting meals for the family. She enjoyed trying new restaurants and loved having lunch together with her friends. She introduced her Plainfield book club group to The Farm House restaurant in Bean Blossom and they all enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and meandering gardens and greenhouses. She enjoyed visiting with her family and they called her “Turkey Lady” as they looked forward to her delicious turkey at Thanksgiving and baked ham at Easter. Martha loved going on trips with her girlfriends from Indiana and former classmate from the east coast, and was a good sport about being adventurous, even when it took her out of her comfort zone. Her family and friends will miss her bright smile and personality.

ANNA MICHELLE HARRIS, 37, of Plainfield, passed away on April 27, 2021.
She was born in Indianapolis on May 16, 1983 to Jeffery and Cheryl Harris. Anna was a loving wife and a dedicated homemaker to her children she loved so dearly. She worked as a teacher for Van Buren Elementary since 2018.
Anna volunteered for the Optimist Miracle Movers in Plainfield. She spent the majority of her time watching her children play sports. Anna loved spending time with her family, especially her children.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jeffery A. Harris.
Funeral services were Monday, May 3, at the Kingsway Christian Church, Avon.
Survivors include her loving husband, Bryan Harris; sons, Cobi and Zyon Harris; daughters, Nyah and Kalea Harris; mother, Cheryl Harris; brother, Wesley Harris. JONATHAN T. MAY- NARD-HERBERT, Avon, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021, in his home.
He was born on September 12, 1997.
He is survived by his mother, Lisa Hostetler, his father, Jake Herbert, his siblings, Olivia Hostetler, Mason Herbert and Sophia Herbert, and his grandparents Darrell and Sandy Maynard, Helen Bell, Chris Herbert, and Thomas Herbert.
He is preceded in death by his stepfather, Bob Hostetler, his grandfather Bob Hostetler, and his grandmother LouAnne Herbert.
Services were Saturday, May 1, at Conkle Funeral Home, Avon Chapel.

STEVE “THE BOPPER” STAPP, 80, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home in Brownsburg, on April 23, 2021.
Steve is a member of The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame in Knoxville, Iowa, (as was his father, Babe), the United State Auto Club (USAC) Hall of Fame, the Hoosier Auto Race Fans Hall of Fame & the National Association of Racing Fan Clubs Hall of Fame.
Steve is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rosemary Stapp; two children, Andy (Sandy) Stapp, and Susannah (James “Chuy” Sandberg) Stapp; three grandchildren, Sammy and Joey Stapp, Courtney Stapp Sandberg, and his four-legged grandchildren, Beaudry, Zoey, Findley, Offy, and Sprocket.
Although he was an only child, he leaves behind his brothers, Hall of Fame driver, Pancho Carter, Buzzy Dobbins, and Tom McIntosh. They were as close, if not closer than blood. He is also survived by his partner in crime in restoring race cars, Kenneth Nichols.
Celebration of Life took place Sunday, May 2, at USAC Headquarters in 4 Speedway.

SHARON LEE NAY, 69, Brownsburg, passed away on April 25, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Nay; parents, George and Pearlie Henderson; and sister, Linda Barnhart.
Survivors include her nephews Wayne Adams, Bill Wilson, Michael Wilson; nieces Juanita Keen, Marchetta Newell and several great nieces and nephews.

VIOLET R. ROE, 89, Indianapolis, passed away May 2, 2021.
She was a long-time real estate investor and developer in this area. She graduated from Pinnell High School in 1949 and was a former Mrs. Hendricks County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Solomon, son, Christopher Solomon and a sister, Betty Hurt.
Survivors include her companion, Jack Roe; daughter, Donna Solomon; grandchildren, Carmen Hardesty and Jarrod Hardesty; five great grandchildren, Brent, Samuel, Breyonna, Rosie, and Ezekial; sister, Jane Ross; nephews ,Eugene Hurt, Steve Hurt, Jeff Ross and Michael Ross; nieces, Martha Jennings and Tina Swarens.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, May 7 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funerals services at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Lizton K of P Cemetery. MARY ELLEN (Bayt) BLUE, 80, of Pittsboro, lost her hard fought war with cancer on April 25, 2021.
Ellen was born in Indianapolis on February 9, 1941 to Sylvester (Chet) and Mary Bayt where she grew up with two sisters, Nancy McCarthy and Susan Simons. She was married for 57 years to Wallace Blue. She was a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church.
A funeral mass was celebrated on Friday April 30, and inurnment at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown on Saturday May 1. Arrangements: Flanner Buchanan - Speedway.
Ellen is survived by her husband Wallace, her three children Paula, Michael, and Patrick, her seven grandchildren Joshua, Jonathan, Justin, Jessica, Caleb, Morinda, and Alexander, her ten great-grandchildren...and two little dogs.

MYRA FORD DOHMEYER passed away April 28, 2021.
She was born August 14, 1935 in Niagara Falls, N.Y. to Marion and Dana Ford. The daughter of a veterinarian, Myra loved animals and worked at her father’s business in many capacities.
Myra graduated from Purdue University in 1957 with a bachelor’s degree in Home Economics. While at Purdue, she met and married the love of her life, Raymond Dohmeyer. After graduation, she and Ray bought their first pharmacy in Riverdale, Ill. Over the years, they established a small chain of pharmacies in the neighboring communities.
Myra and Ray were members of the Chamber of Commerce and were the founders of the local Miss America pageant in Thornton Township. Myra also served as a Girl Scout leader. She also served as a substitute teacher.
Ray and Myra lived in South Holland the majority of their married life and were faithful members of First Reformed Church of South Holland. They were avid Purdue fans and enjoyed season tickets to Purdue football and basketball games. Over the years, they enjoyed spending time at their villa in Jamaica.
Myra is preceded in death by her father and mother, and husband.
She is survived by her brother, Donald Ford and her three children: Joy Read (Brian) of Avon; Gayle Norwood (Randy) of Texarkana, Tex.; Brett Dohmeyer of Orland Park, Ill., as well as five grandchildren: Faith Norwood Frank (Jeff), Brianne Read, Abbey Norwood, Eric Read, Andrew Read and one great-grandson, Turner Frank.
A memorial service will be May 15, at Avon United Methodist Church, 6850 East US 36 Avon. Visitation at 10:30 a.m. and Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Memorial conributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation and Bethshan Association. Arrangements: Conkle Funeral Home-Avon. ________________________
