For those who prefer not to get wet there are lots of loungers and deckchairs to relax on whilst the family enjoy themselves!
Indoors or out, rain or shine… the outdoor** pool is a super
place to cool off when it’s hot, to sunbathe or just relax with family and friends. The outdoor pool area is where you’ll find the Snack Shack, and lots of extra activities in school holiday periods too, with scuba diving, “Bush Survival” lessons and loads more!

The outdoor pool is usually heated at Spring Bank Holiday and then again throughout July and August unless poor weather conditions prevail. The Oasis is open to the public and during busy times the indoor pool operates session times. Use of the flumes is restricted to competent swimmers and those over 1m in height. The indoor pool has a small admission charge; the outdoor pool is free to guests.

Go glamping... in one of our lovely Hendra Pods which are located in one of the parks most picturesque spaces, the green and tree-lined Trevilley. A Pod is a great camping experience replacing the canvas tent; you just need to bring everything else! All the Pods are equipped with electric sockets, lighting and a heater. Each has one or two windows, depending on the size, and a glazed door. Outside, all of them have a table, chairs and a parasol, a decked area, and a lockable storage box containing a coolbox, plus ice packs which you can exchange for free at the on-site supermarket.
The Couple’s Pod is perfect for two adults and the Family Pod is great for two adults and one or two children†. All pods are empty of furniture so you can maximise the available space for sleeping. *We welcome most breeds of dog at Hendra but don’t forget to include them on your booking form, as the pitches where we allow dogs are limited. We provide a dog walking area on the park and there are miles of lovely countryside for daily walkies with your pet! GREEN, GREENER, GREENEST Looking after our environment is as important as looking after our guests so we are proud of achieving many ‘green’ environmental accolades including a Gold Bellamy Award, the Britain in Bloom Commercial Award from the Royal Horticultural Society, runner up in the RHS Environmental Responsibility Awards, a Sustainable Tourism Award and more recently, ‘Best Large Business’ in Cornwall’s Sustainable Business awards (including Winner of Winners).

Orchard Field Shower Block
Meadow, a ten acre 1.5MW solar farm which provides up to 70% of Hendra’s own power needs – the equivalent of 325 domestic homes! Since then we have also installed a Biomass Boiler which uses woodchips from a sustainable source to heat the water for the Oasis Pools in a very efficient and energy-saving process. To date we have also implemented 24 environmental initiatives that together save hundreds of tonnes of CO2 annually. As well as recycling facilities we have put in place measures to reduce light pollution and save water and energy. Making sure all of our guests enjoy their stay
here is very important so most facilities, including the Oasis Fun Pools, and shower facilities for touring guests have access for the less able and for wheelchair users. We can provide hypo-allergenic duvets and pillows and have an induction loop in our Reception. Assistance dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. Hendra’s Cancellation Scheme 4. For this premium Hendra will refund all monies paid (excluding the cancellation and booking fees) up to 28 days before arrival. If cancelling within the 28 day period, we will refund due to any of the following:- death, serious illness or redundancy to a member of the booked party.
