Frodsham Junior FC hosts fourth annual inter-schools tournament for over 100 local children Frodsham uniors FC recently hosted its fourth annual inter-school football tournament featuring over 180 children in 20 teams from 13 local primary schools.

Organised and run buy Frodsham FC s volunteer coaches in partnership with Cheshire Oaks School Sports Partnership the day long tournament held at Frodsham Leisure Centre was divided in to two sections in the morning year 3-4 boys and girls from Ashton Hayes Frodsham CE Frodsham Manor House Frodsham Weaver ale Horn s Mill and St Luke s RC primary schools competed in a series of group games from which Frodsham Manor House emerged as champions.

In the afternoon year 5-6 boys and girls from Elton CP Frodsham CE Frodsham Manor House Frodsham Weaver ale Horn s Mill ingsley CP Little Sutton CE Meadow CP Our Lady Star of the Sea RC Parklands CP and St Luke s RC primary schools had their turn with Hornsmill ending the day victorious.

Frodsham FC s Schools Liaison Of cer oe Bell who helped to set up and run the event commented: â&#x20AC;&#x153;We would like to thank Cheshire Oaks School Sports Partnership and all the schools who took part for their support. Now in its Fourth year the annual tournament is proving as popular as ever. As a Club we are dedicated to providing footballing opportunities for as many local children as possible. Hosting events such as the inter-schools tournament gives children not currently playing for Frodsham JFC the chance to enjoy football in an organised and safe environment. ingsley Players back on stage with magical musical Dr Dolittle oin award-winning ingsley Players on an exciting ourney to the magical world of Dr Dolittle at the end of anuary.

Based on the much-loved stories of Hugh Lofting and the Twentieth Century Fox lm starring Rex Harrison this stage version features all the famous Broadway songs such as Talk to the Animals and the Richard Attenborough classic I ve Never Seen Anything Like It .

The musical tells the story of the uirky but kind animal doctor who is wrongly accused of murder. Follow him on cra y adventures as he and his friends human and animal embark on a sea voyage to track down the Great Pink Sea Snail the oldest wisest creature on Earth.

Dylan White who starred as Mr Tom in the recent award-winning production Goodnight Mr Tom plays the title role of Dr Dolittle. He is oined on stage with a large talented cast which includes Matt ones Chloe Rigby Andrea ones oe ouds and Matthew Betteridge.

Director Lynn Pegler said: â&#x20AC;&#x153;This show is a treat for all ages and a joy to perform. We do, of course, have a dancing Pushmi Pullu, as well as a large menagerie of talking cows, pigs, horses, ducks and chimpanzees.
