Day At The Derby featured silent auctions, a live DJ, culinary delights, and amazing cocktails, creating a joyous atmosphere . Awards were given to community partners to show our appreciation for their dedication to changing the lives of our seniors. Our community partners were essential to the event's success, making a meaningful difference and creating lasting memories.
The theme for this year's Earth Day is "Invest in Our Planet." This challenges individuals, businesses, and governments to prioritize the planet in every decision they make. It's a call to action for sustainable practices that not only protect but also restore our environment. From reducing our carbon footprint and embracing renewable energy sources to supporting ecofriendly businesses and advocating for policies that protect natural habitats, there are countless ways we can contribute to the well-being of our planet.
As you step into the office on Earth Day consider changing up your routine a little to help make the world a better place. Bring a reusable water bottle to reduce plastic waste. 1. Make a meatless lunch. 2. Print double sided, or not at all to eliminate paper waste. 3. Have a ‘lights off’ hour to help save energy. 4.
Work with our team and clean up an area of your office whether it’s inside or outside. 5.
Make eco-friendly snacks for everyone to enjoy! 6.
