MAKE A LIST
WRITE DOWN WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE AND PRIORITIZE TASKS SO YOU CAN FOCUS ON THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS FIRST YOU ALSO NEED TO CONSIDER YOUR PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS AND ANY HEALTH ISSUES YOU MIGHT BE EXPERIENCING AS A SENIOR. THIS CAN HELP YOU FORMULATE A LIST THAT YOU CAN COMPLETE.
BREAK IT DOWN
BREAK LARGE CLEANING PROJECTS INTO SMALLER TASKS THAT CAN BE DONE IN FIVE TO 15-MINUTE INCREMENTS. THIS WILL MAKE IT EASIER TO STAY FOCUSED AND MOTIVATED WHILE STILL ALLOWING YOU TO REST IN BETWEEN TASKS IF NEEDED. YOU DON'T HAVE TO GET EVERYTHING ON YOUR LIST DONE IN A SINGLE DAY.
SET A SCHEDULE
SET A SCHEDULE SO THAT YOU DON'T GET OVERWHELMED BY SPRING CLEANING. THIS CAN HELP SENIORS STAY ORGANIZED AND BETTER MANAGE THEIR PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS WHEN IT COMES TO DEEP CLEANING PROJECTS. YOU SHOULD SET ASIDE A SPECIFIC TIME EACH DAY OR WEEK FOR COMPLETING CERTAIN TASKS AND BE SURE TO GIVE YOURSELF PLENTY OF BREAKS THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS. SET A TIMER AS YOU WORK, SO YOU DON'T TIRE YOURSELF OUT.
GET HELP
IF DEEP CLEANING PROJECTS ARE TOO MUCH FOR YOU TO HANDLE ON YOUR OWN, IT'S NOT A BAD IDEA TO GET HELP. HIRING SOMEONE CAN MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE WHEN MANAGING YOUR HEALTH AND COMPLETING SPRING CLEANING TASKS SAFELY
