The HHPLift 5k Run/Walk in Memory of Jim Wersching is our marquee in-person event. Be part of the HHPLift family, a growing non-profit with a huge base of philanthropic individuals in the Chicago-land area, and across the U.S.

Sponsoring the Run/Walk means dedicating yourself whole-heartedly to transforming lives, just as our collegue Jim did.

In 2022, we had over 100 participants and raised almost $35,000. Our goal is $50,000 this year, and we know we can do this with the support of passionate, caring sponsors such as yourself, or your organization.

All proceeds will support our work to reduce the cycle of poverty and forge economic independence for people overcoming barriers to employment globally, and locally through our LiftWorksTM Program. At our Ben Arkes LiftTM Center, individuals with barriers to fair wage employment are provided critical career development skills through on-the-job training, education seminars & events,access to software & computer skills training, and more.
