The European Association of Communication Directors (EACD) wants to attract, inspire and engage current and ­future communication leaders to drive excellence in our ­profession. Recognising the growing importance of communications, we offer professionals a platform to connect, deepen their expertise, share best practice, establish and promote relevant standards.

We offer numerous initiatives for you to participate in:

International events Our Europe-wide events such as the European Communication Summit and the EACD Forum address the latest trends in communications and discuss societal developments from a communications perspective. As our events are organised by peers for peers, we know what’s driving communicators and what challenges they face. Be a speaker and share your insights or learn from and engage with your international peers.

Regional networks Whether a debate or a coaching day, our network of country ambassadors organises local events discussing communication trends and challenges from a regional point of view. Together with our members we set the agenda and give them the chance to present and discuss their best cases. Everyone is invited to contribute and engage in our debates.

Mentoring Our mentoring programme aims to create trusted relationships between mentees and senior communication professionals and a rich exchange where both parties will benefit from each other’s experience and insight. Join us and become a mentor or mentee to boost your career.

European Communication Award Do you want to showcase your team’s outstanding communications campaigns? Are you an aspiring young communicator who led an innovative communications project? Participate in our award and present your successes to leading communicators at the European Communication Summit.

Communication Director and blog We make sure you stay up-to-date on the latest trends in communication.

And we encourage our community of communicators to learn from each other.

Do you want to share your best cases and experiences? Contribute to our magazine and blog or get inspired and learn from your peers!

Research Research projects such as the European Communication Monitor build a concise picture of the status and future of strategic communication. Share your insights in our surveys and contribute to the advancement of our profession.
