What if you didn’t know that blood circulates through the body? Would you be able to fgure it out by examining the organs of animals or humans? What if for more than 1,000 years the prevailing understanding of the body’s organs assumed that blood didn’t circulate, until one day someone showed that it did? What questions would that raise for you?

Thoroughly experimental and informed by a new scientif philosophy that matter was made up of imperceptibly tiny and interacting particles, this research and debate took them to the brink of discovering oxygen.
