ESP is fitted into the towel war mer prior to delivery (selected models). No extra parts to buy and install. Simply switch on and use.

The ESP energy saver controller carries a 2 year warranty.

Timekeeper Plus Eco-Warm

The Timekeeper Plus replaces the normal "on/off" switch and it works like a timer switching your towel warmer on and off

The plus is there are five o p e ration modes which can be selected by using its touch sensitive control button.

Timekeeper

The Timekeeper, designed especially for Heirloom 12 volt warmers, is installed behind the on/off switch. It turns the towel w a r mer on and off twice per day, with a repeating cycle. The warmer is on for 4 hours and then off 8 hours.

The Eco-Warm unit is installed behind the "on/off" switch and your towel warmer will operate at full power for 4 hours, then h a l f power for 8 hours, so you always have warm towels.

Please Note: Timekeeper Plus is not suitable for ESP towel warmers. Eco-Warm i s n o t suitable for ESP or 12 volt towel warmers.

Heirloom has made installation easier by designing flexible options into their warmers. 240 or 12 volt warmers, left or right, concealed or exposed wiring options and superior IP ratings, for peace of mind.

Heirloom towel warmers are test laboratory certified to IP56 for ladders and IP47 Strata single rail products.

The se ratings exceed A/NZ standards, meaning they can go almost anywhere including Zone 1, the area next to baths and showers. Refer to page 69.

Heirloom Strata rails are 12 volt and Heirloom also offer a range of its unique 12 volt ladder warmers.

Heirloom has been designing and manufacturing towel warmers for New Zealand bathrooms over 40 years. The superior IP rating of Heirloom towel warmers allows for flexible installation options.

Installation Zones

Where can I install my towel warmer?

New Zealand Electrical IP Zones

All Heirloom towel warmers have an IP rating per the Australia/NZ standard, AS/NZS 60335. This IP rating determines in which bathroom IP zone the towel warmer can be installed.

IP bathroom zones are determined by AS/NZS 3000:2007 and are identified on these diagrams.

IP45 / IP46 / IP47 warmers can be installed in Zone 1 (and all other zones) which offers peace of mind by ensuring the most installation flexibility.

A lesser IP rating will require a warmer to be installed in Zones that are further away from the water source which can be quite restrictive

These diagrams illustrate the IP electrical zones in certain bathroom settings and provide a general guide only, of where an Heirloom towel warmer may be installed.

Every bathroom will have a unique layout and will usually vary in some way from these diagrams. The installing electrician will be required to certify the compliance of the installation and will need therefore to inspect the actual installation and consider the layout including its water sources (taps, showers etc) and the proximity of the warmer to direct contact with water from these sources. For comprehensive detail and advice, contact your certified electrician.

Heirloom towel warmers are designed for continuous use, but they can be switched off during holidays etc.

Care

Easy to clean. Wipe down with a soft damp cloth with a little liquid detergent then wipe dry. (A better result is achieved if your towel warmer is cold).

Operat ing costs are similar to a traditional light bulb, a sm a ll price for the luxury of warm towels, ready whenever you want to use them.

Towel placement

For most effective warming, fold towels to double thickness and then place over the towel rail. (On a standard width warmer this al s o allows towels to be placed side by side.)

Carefree

Simply turn your warmer on and forget it. Thereafter warm towels will be available whenever you are ready to use them.

(ESP timers on selected models will provide additional power saving options.)

STANDARD

Standard width warmers are 600mm wide. Standard width models are available in varying heights to suit the wall space available in particular settings. They can accommdate 2 folded standard towels side by side.

Towel Warmer

Extended width (greater than 600mm) offer more space for wider towels or for a more balanced visual effect on wider wall areas.

Slimline warmers are around 440–460mm wide (Trimline are 400mm wide) and ideally suit narrow and taller wall spaces, common for example, between showers and vanities. Ideal in appartments or smaller houses. If space allows in larger bathrooms, ideal for a "his and hers" situation.

COMPACT EXTENDED

Compact extended models suit wall spaces that, while constrained in height have good width, for example as illustrated, above a bath or below a window.
