Built in Safety

More child proof than a boiling kettle – Peppy Taps have a spring loaded handle on the boiling water handle to ensure it cannot be accidentally turned on. To activate the boiling water, the safety button must be held down and twisted and kept in place until you are finished pouring. This system ensures that boiling water isn’t left running or the handle isn’t knocked by accident.

Water pressure is also slightly lower than a traditional tap to prevent the splashing of boiling water

The Anti Scald tap outlet - does not get hot when boiling water runs through the tap.

Flow restrictors for both the hot and cold mains inlets ensures incoming water pressure is kept at the right level for both the boiler & chiller.

Auto shut down is activated if the boiler is empty

Vented design on the boiler prevents pressure build up in the boiler which could be a safety hazard and removes the requirement for cabinet vents.

Peppy Taps dispense near-boiling water and have been carefully designed with practicality and safety in mind so that it can be used by all the family.

7 preset temperature settings 75, 85, 90, 95, 96, 97 and 98 degrees celcius. Thermostat is accurate to 0.5 degrees.

2.4L stainless steel tank that can deliver 1.8L of water at specified temperature. Initial heating time is 7-8 minutes from ambient. Reheating time 2 - 3 mins.

Non pressurised system (open vent design) with safety handle. Means no grates are needed on cabinet doors as gases vent through the outlet. RCM Certificate for electrical compliance. Digital display.
