The “Do It Yourself” trend has made its mark on society, but for Ashley Schoenith making items from scratch makes a mark on family. “Growing up in our house things were always made from scratch – Sunday dinner around the family table, homemade birthday cakes, etc. We are carrying on that nostalgia with this collection. ‘Made from Scratch’ really brings together the concept of being resourceful but also honors the traditions from generations before us.”

About 10 years ago, Ashley began to make and sell IceMilk Aprons to pass on the notion of family heirlooms in the kitchen. As the company, now appropriately named Heirloomed, grew she started to make products for the table and even expanded into home + lifestyle. Heirloomed gives products a story and creates family traditions through the history of heirlooms. “In a world that is becoming increasingly more disposable, the true treasures are those with a story and a history.”
