Over the last 10 years, Lutheran Academy has encountered various problems during the lead time for the Academy. In 2008, the Legislative Council has accepted and approved the School Development Project. A sum of around 280 million dollars has been granted for building the school premise and it has been ready for use since 2010. The school premises are spacious and covers about 8,500 sq. meters in area. Its facilities have been delicately designed with the aim of giving impetus to students' learning. The client intends to expand the school with a new teaching block and a new multi-function block for the School’s sustainable development. The total G.F.A. of the proposed building extension is about 6,000 sq.m. Key design features include: Indoor swimming pool and sport facilities, semi-open designed library and performing art room.
