Irisha is a semi-displacement fully-custom 51-metre motor yacht with an impressive top speed of 26 knots.

Her exterior lines, designed by British studio Harrison Eidsgaard, are founded on the successful engineering platform of Heesen’s award-winning 5000 Aluminium class. Driven by the owner’s desire for something “fairly aggressive and dynamic”, the radical design gives her a distinctive edge on the water.

Technically challenging from both a design and construction point of view, the curved glass sheets used for her iconic raised wheelhouse are among the largest produced in Europe. Forward on the main deck, a built-in settee is protected by a hydraulically driven canopy that creates a wind-sheltered outdoor space ideal for relaxing in privacy. More forward, in the bow a second seating area protected from the wind is the ideal place for admiring the views when underway.

Precision and Performance

Powered by two MTU 16V 4000 M93L diesel engines with ingenious naval architecture and precision engineering by Heesen’s in-house experts, Irisha has a transatlantic range of over 3,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 11 knots. A signature custom-paint by Alexseal adds a two-tone appearance to the hull, changing from metallic blue to dark olive-green hues in sunlight.

Outdoor Deck Space

The main deck is characterised by a spectacular indoor-outdoor winter garden, with sliding glass doors to protect the aft deck. A split-level tender garage on the lower deck transforms into a unique beach club area aft with sauna and day head forming an additional secluded owner’s area. The 13-metre long sun deck boasts a sunbathing area aft of the hot tub, as well as seating, an adjustable dining table, and a large bar with eight swivel stools for optimum views both into the wheelhouse and out at sea when cruising.

Interior Design Irisha boasts a chic understated interior featuring varying shades of light and dark grey (the owner’s favourite colour) with beige and blue accent colours. Rich materials are featured sparingly throughout, including stainless-steel finishes used to highlight architectural details.

The sky lounge is equipped with a cinema screen and projector for film nights, and served by a wet bar for the ideal socialising hub.

Intricate plaster work by DKT is featured on the highly-complex aluminium-based atrium staircase, with a toughened glass balustrade and a floating handrail. Elsewhere, the use of wood is complemented by the addition of soft textiles and textured fabrics, resulting in a cosy and inviting atmosphere for the whole family. This is supported bythe use of architectural mood lighting throughout the yacht; four different settings can be used to create ambient moods and calming environments.

Characterised by the owner’s desire for a fast day boat with an emphasis on fine dining, Irisha’s interior lines, design and aesthetics are all linked to ensure a seamless flow of movement throughout, ideal for both small and large-scale entertaining.

Owner’s stateroom

The main deck Owner’s stateroom is accessed via a private study furnished with an exquisite cantilevered, custom-designed desk. Plenty of natural light floods the work space thanks to two large windows. Architecturally-designed lighting spotlights key areas, such as the hand-felted silk bedhead by Dutch artist Claudy Jongstra which adorns the headrest. The suite also boasts a French balcony with glass sliding doors, which provides a seamless link with the outdoors.

Owners bathroom

His and Hers walk-in dressing rooms with wash basins lead into the shared Owner’s bathroom – a bright and spacious area with muted tones designed to invite rest and relaxation. A central freestanding wengé bathtub and double therapy shower take pride of place. Onyx and marble feature throughout, including the floors and fittings, as does Irisha’s signature colour palette of light and dark grey ombre.

VIP suite

The guest suites are located on the lower deck. Two doubles and two twins, with the option of converting the twins into a double. The twin rooms, thanks to a sliding partition, can be transformed into a full-beam VIP suite with double bed and sofa corner. Each guest cabin en-suite features an onyx wall, complemented by marble finishes. The architecture of the VIP suite is emphasised by the light design, incorporating both soft accent lighting and strategically placed spotlighting.

Dining room

A generous dining table on the main deck seats 14 guests, extending to accommodate up to 22. Stainless-steel finishes and architectural lighting complete the package. Long sight lines sweep up and down the double curved atrium staircase; a cleverly engineered piece of art that connects the three decks.

Wheelhouse

The sporty raised wheelhouse – undoubtedly Irisha’s most impressive design feature – is completely enclosed in 3D curved glass and is reminiscent of the cockpit on an F16 fighter jet. Encompassing a split-level design with three steps up, it seamlessly connects the wheelhouse and sun deck. Two L-shaped hatches at the front of the sun deck lead directly back to the wheelhouse, creating a continuous link. In front of the wheelhouse sits a neatly integrated forward-facing sofa with a navy folding canopy – the perfect, secluded area.
