SD - SIDE DUMPER The Side Dumper is equipped with a roof and optimised for sealed transport of hazardous materials and/or highly refined and valuable ore products in smaller volumes. The 4-axle bogie wagon measures just over twelve metres and has a carrying capacity of 73 tonnes. The Side Dumper can handle sticky materials and is designed for loading and discharge from both left and right side.

World Class Ore Logistics
The Side Dumper is designed for efficient and secure transport, maximum productivity and easy maintenance. The wagon is optimised for easy replacement of wear components such as links, bushings and rubber seals. Also larger parts, such as hatches and, are constructed to be easily unhitched and replaced. High-strength steel is used in framework, profiles and frames for minimised tare weight. With the goal of making the Side Dumper as productionfriendly as possible, the chassis is designed with a central girder. During discharge, the wagon is locked in correct position whereby external lifters connect to the body and tip it to an angle of 55 degrees. The wagon can be reclassified with supplemented calculations/simulations to handle a speed of up to 100 km/h when fully loaded.
