With a wealthy society, land and power.

Meanwhile the pilgrims belief wasn't as strong as the Catholic Church wanted them to have.

This caused the pilgrims to get kicked out from Britain.

After 3 months of long traveling the pilgrims finally arrived in America.

The pilgrims started to build their new society and the Indians were watching.

The pilgrims where very thankful to the Indians for helping them survive. So they invited them to a dinner to say thanks to the Indians. This happened to be the first thanksgiving.

The wampam had different meanings for Indians than for pilgrims.

In Spring 1630, 100 pilgrims come to Massachusetts by ship.

Pilgrims come to the colonies expecting to just take space and occupying them

the population of the pilgrims grew from 300 to 20,000.They started to live and build new towns.

As the English population grew bigger the Indians became weaker

European countries such as France and Britain, started to establish an empire in America,which were called New England and New France.

The English found the Pequot as an enemy for their expansion.

In spring 1637, the English destroyed the Pequot , the strongest power of the Indians.

The war started when officials in plymouth colony hanged three wampanoags for murdering a christianized indian

The Indians went to war which lasted 14 months

This was the last major effort by the indians of new england to drive out the english settlers

They destroyed 12 frontier towns

The Natives had become increasingly dependent on English goods, food, and weapons, and their bargaining power diminished as the fur trade dried up

The Wampanoag have lost the war and many natives are running away some have been captured and sold to be slave and the chef king Philip (Metacomet) has run into the forest to find refuge.

The pilgrims start war with the Wampanoag and they Wampanoag had lost many and are losing the war heavily.

The king Philip (Metacomet) was found and killed the war is officially over as the pilgrims chopped of his head stuck it in a stick.
