Introduction

My shapes are an acute triangle, isosceles triangle, quadrilateral, rhombus, and regular pentagon. An acute triangle is a 3 sided shape with 3 acute angles. An isosceles triangle is a triangle with only two equal sides. A quadrilateral is a flat shape with four sides. A rhombus is a four sided shape with equal sides and is tilted. A regular pentagon has five equal sides and five equal angles.

Acute Triangle

An acute triangle is a triangle that has 3 acute angles and 3 sides. The sides do not have to be the same length. All the angles have to add up to 180.째

isosceles triangle An isosceles triangle has 2 equal sides and 2 of the angles are the same. When you add up all of the angles it should add up to 180.째

Quadrilateral

A Quadrilateral is a 4 sided shape that all of the angles add up to 360.째 The sides do not have to be the same. Some can be longer and some can be shorter. Quadrilaterals can be found in any house as long as you have a door.

A rhombus is a shape that has 4 equal sides and 2 pairs of equal angles. There are two pairs of parallel sides. All of the angles add up to 360.째

Regular Pentagon

A regular pentagon has 5 sides all of the same length. No sides are parallel and the 5 angles add up to 540.째

Conclusion

That is all of my shapes the acute triangle, isosceles triangle, regular pentagon, rhombus and the quadrilateral.

My favorite shape is the acute triangle.
