TUITION & FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TUITION VS. EXPENSES As is common with private schools, tuition covers only 80% of our annual budget. We rely on the success of our Annual Campaign and the generosity of our Board of Directors, parents, and community donors, as well as support from the Greater Miami Jewish Federation to help make up this difference.
TUITION AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE POLICY STATEMENT Hebrew Academy takes careful consideration when establishing our tuition and financial assistance policies. The Board of Directors aims to maintain the balance between offering the highest quality service at the most reasonable cost. We strive to do this all while providing a warm and nurturing environment with the highest academic standards for our students. For some families, tuition is higher than can reasonably be met. Hebrew Academy is committed to ensuring our school is affordable to families of all economic standing. We partner with those families that cannot afford the full tuition to make a quality Jewish education a reality. Hebrew Academy believes that financial assistance is an essential expression of our core values.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Financial Assistance applications become available in March. Awards are announced after Passover. Award
Please note Financial Assistance
announcements for new families are prioritized.
awards are provided on a first come, first served basis and late applicants may receive no, or a greatly reduced, award.
Families need to carefully follow Financial Assistance instructions, upload indicated documents to FACTS Management, and print and submit all documents to the Admission Office. We are unable to accept Financial Assistance items via e-mail.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROCESS For approximately 60% of our families, tuition is beyond their reach. To offset this dilemma and ensure that Jewish children have the opportunity to receive a Jewish education, Hebrew Academy proudly offers financial assistance for students entering Nursery 2 and older. Families are required to complete the admission and registration process prior to receiving a financial aid award. We cannot provide award estimates. Please note preschool scholarship awards are minimal as tuition for that division is provided at a lower rate than the upper grades. The financial assistance application process is as follows: E-sign and submit the full price enrollment tuition contract and submit the non-refundable Registration Fee as described above.
Complete the FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment Application, submit the FACTS application fee, and upload the required documents to FACTS. The link to FACTS is:
