HEBCAC

The Historic East Baltimore Community Action Coalition (HEBCAC) is a nonprofit that began as a collaboration of community residents, Baltimore City Officials, and Johns Hopkins. HEBCAC works to support strong, diverse neighborhoods that honor their history while carving out a promising future. We have been a part of East Baltimore since 1994, serving the 220-block area bounded by Edison Highway, Aisquith Street, North Avenue, and Fayette Street. Our projects and services offer resources that help individuals reach their goals of economic self-sufficiency and we mobilize projects that improve the value and livability of neighborhoods in the East Baltimore area. Our projects and programs range from community beautification to educational programs, depending on the needs and desires of the community.
