GOOD AFTERNOON AND WELCOME TO THE GREEN ENERGY SPORTS GROUND FOR TODAY'S GAME.

The most important thing from Tuesday against Trafford is the result. Lads were making the three-hour journey straight after work, so the main thing was getting through to the next round. The first half wasn't good, but the response in the second was great. We played in their half a lot better and created more openings. I think we had a 25-minute period where we were on top and felt the goals were coming. Obviously we got both the goals, then managed to see the game through. I was buzzing to get my first start and win. I picked up a few minutes away to Tadcaster, but it was great to get the full 90 under my belt because I haven't played a full game in about a month. I'm enjoying my time here so far I've had a few training sessions and the lads have been spot on. It's been easy boding into the team - I've got to know everyone pretty well during the four or five sessions. It's been easy enough taking things into a game environment. Before I joined, the lads had a lot of away journeys, so it'll be nice to have five at home now. Hopefully we can take advantage and pick up a few more wins.
