Welcome

Success takes a myriad of different forms and this Success brochure outlining the numerous achievements of all the girls at Heathfield details them in their entirety. From music to drama, examination results to sports’ fixtures and leagues, the pages are filled with the joy of success at all levels. The effects of the restraints of Covid-19, which unfortunately eradicated the Summer term, have certainly been felt. Nonetheless, we are so proud of every achievement here.

The reason a parent and pupil picks Heathfield is not just due to this extrinsic success, as exciting as that is, it is also because behind every one of these achievements is a shaky pair of knees as one enters an assessment, a girl overcoming her fear of public speaking or a girl with cold hands holding a lacrosse stick on a freezing cold morning along with muddy shins and grazed knees. Colin Powell said ‘There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.’ These results are dazzling and a reflection of the determination and sheer hard work by both the pupils and the members of staff who inspired and encouraged these young women to believe in themselves. Being a small school, Heathfield girls enjoy so many unique opportunities at every level. They discover their strengths and their passions and pursue them in a supportive community that is ambitious for every girl.

They are magnificent, they are your daughters, and I am so very proud of the wide range and diversity of their achievements.
