The sun has been shining on the playing fields at Heathfield and I’m so pleased that the rain held off for our Sports Day on Saturday, what a great day it was. The external exams are ongoing, but the Fifth Form and the Upper Sixth have been rising to the challenge with the typical resilience we are so proud of inculcating at Heathfield. Now is the time for exploration and with the launch of the Independent Learning projects across the lower year groups and the Higher Education days for the Lower Sixth, this part of the term allows our students to look forward and to review and reflect on the past year. I am looking forward enormously to our community coming together on Parents’ Day on the July 7 and hearing our speaker, Christine Agnew QC, a talented and experienced criminal silk, talk to us about her world and her key messages for the school. Best wishes Mrs Gardiner Legge
