The days are getting longer and it’s lovely to see the younger girls out in the sunshine playing tennis or sitting on the lawn. Of course examinations are also upon us and the girls are working hard ready for the rigours ahead. But an education isn’t just about what is in the classroom and this newsletter is full of the opportunities the girls are given to explore their subjects and their application to the ‘real world’. As we say at Heathfield, we prepare your daughters for their lives, not just their next educational step. Speaking of which – how glorious to see our Old Girls on Fellowship Day. It was a beautiful day and the girls were hugely appreciative of all that their school had done for them; I was told some cracking stories too, about which floorboards the girls used to hide their treasure under. It’s clear that the trips and experiences the girls have today become the treasured memories of tomorrow, and we count ourselves lucky that we are able to be a part of that. With all good wishes to you all Best wishes, Mrs Gardiner Legge
