I love it when the whole school community joins together and works really hard for a goal and didn’t you all do brilliantly for Nicky Stalls! A feast of red, green, gold, blue and purple and real dedication from every member of the school community including The Fellowship who were in and supporting the school. A real testament to the loyalty and commitment to our school and a solid embodiment of how the girls of the past are helping the girls of the future. There are so many to thank and to each and every one of you – I so appreciate all you do for our school. The generosity of our community never fails to astonish me. School life continues as busy as ever; netball and lacrosse; terrific riding clear rounds; super performances at county level and so many congratulations due to our pupils who represent the school day in and day out. I always say to new parents that Heathfield is a school where the girls have to participate in all weathers, and they do just that! Girls received their examination results and there have been some stellar performances as well as girls who have made great efforts and progress. It isn’t just about making the top grades at Heathfield but about doing your best and it’s great to see that numerous effort and progress prizes are due to be awarded in our celebration assembly at the end of term as well as the Heathfield Highflyer prizes awarded for outstanding pieces of work. It only remains for me to wish our UVI and Vth Form girls the very best of luck for their mock examinations which begin next week and to greet, with joy, the beginning of Advent and the inevitable decorations that festoon the school. I look forward to meeting so many of you at the Carol Service and our Christmas Drinks and to those of you who are not as frequent visitors to the school I wish you joy and peace as the rush begins!
