i really like this layout for an exhibition board. it is very simple and has only got three different images on it, but because of the different boarders to them. it makes them look completely different at first glance. i would like to use all four models in this board although i dont want to use just one model twice because it wouldnt be symetrical. that is why i have chosen to use two of them twice and then one in large at the bottom. the four simple tographs at the then lead into a complex version dernieth.

On this exhibition board, I have placed my portrait images on top of one of my vortograph edits. I have repeated this twice, one of the vortographs is normal, and the other has been inverted. Both of them have got a black boarder around them to make them stand out. I like the effect which the inverted one creates because it is such a bright background, it makes the photograph stand out more and create a higher contrast. It also creates a marble effect which I like quite a lot. Although I do like these versions, I don’t think I will carry on developing this method because it isn’t as clean and simple as id like it to be.

i quite like the idea of having a boarder behind my images, i think this gives it a much cleaner look and they also make the images stand out more. in makes the images more interesting to look at whilst keeping them minmalistic and simlple. i like the idea of having the vortograph portraits undernieth but i think it could look better with just plain vortographs.

here i have experimented with using the white boarder behind the photographs as well as having the vortographs undernieth, like i suggested doing with my last board. i really like how this looks and i think i will do something very similar in my final piece.

i think that this board is my most favourite so far. i like having both vortographs and portraits all on one board bceuase it allows them both to show their qualities. i do like combining the two together in one image but i think they stay out a lot more. however, the tollini style edits dont fit in as well as id like them to. i think this could look a lot better with my more complex vortograph edits.

DEVELOPMENT MAQUETTE
here i have got two physical edits of one of my more complex vortograph and portrait variations. in the first one, i have sliced away sections of the photo where there are shards and then elevated it ontop of the original photo to create more depth to it. i then got a boarder from another coppy and put this ontop. the second edit, i placed the sections i origonally cut out ontop of the boarder. i do think this is a good idea although i wont continue developing it because i would like to follow the more digital side pf editing.
