This is my first mquette and design idea for my final piece. I quite like having some of the blacks at different heights in the middle but i think having all the blocks right next to each other doesn’t look as good.

For this maquette i tried having gaps in between the blocks and i think it does look better but i think the gaps may be slightly too big. I think i having the couple standing out in the middle makes just those two stand out two far from the rest

Although this maquette is very simple by just having all the blocks all the same height with the gaps in between i think it looks good and it helps show off the original photo well.
