That you or your model don't have any 'Fake Tan' on the skin on the day of the workshop. That you or your model have not had any sun exposure on the skin in the last four weeks before the workshop. There are no medical conditions or medications that contraindicate you or your model and prevent either of you from having the treatments.

HOW DO I ACHIEVE MY CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCY? In order to achieve your certification, your Dermal Educator will be ensuring that you are able to perform all the elements on the competency checklist. To ensure you feel confident with the execution of your practical skillset, we will provide adequate time throughout the day for you to practice and set you up for success.

Our educators are very helpful and will do everything in their power to ensure you are able to safely and effectively perform your treatments on your clients.
We would also suggest that two days prior to attending your practical workshop that you re-watch some of the videos in chapter 2 of your theory workshop to help you familiarize yourself with the steps you are going to be performing.
To better set yourself up to succeed, we would suggest you read through your competency checklist prior to attending your workshop so that you have a better idea of what you will learn and what you will be required to achieve at the end of the workshop.

WHAT DO I WEAR? To ensure we uphold the health and safety standards as well as maintain our standard of professionalism within the industry, we will require you to wear professional attire when you attend practical hands on workshops Please also ensure that you are wearing enclosed, flat, enclosed shoes and that your hair is tied back.
WHAT IS THE COVID-19 POLICY? We are passionate about providing a safe environment for all attendees and staff and will be following current government advice and regulations applicable to your state. Please note that once you make your booking, it is final. Changes to the booking can be made; however, this will incur a $100 change of booking fee per person. To change your booking, please contact our team at training@theglobalbeautygroup com or (03) 8555 2246. No refunds will be issued if the booking made for this workshop results in a “no show”. If you are deemed ‘not competent at the end of your practical workshop, you will not be issued a certificate, and you will not be refunded. You will need to attend additional practical training to be deemed competent. This will be at an additional cost. WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
We ask that any students or models who are unwell or exhibiting signs of illness not attend the training session, including if they are under instruction to self isolate. Anyone presenting with symptoms of illness will be asked to leave the session.
