We are delighted to welcome three Dermal Educators to our Education Tribe in 2023. Emma (VIC), Monique (WA) and Bri (NSW).
After completing my Diploma in Beauty Therapy in 2014, I spent the following years working across all aspects of the beauty industry, from Day Spas to retail and as a Dermal Therapist. After this, I realized that working with medical-grade machineries such as IPL, laser, LED and multiple body treatment modalities and under the dermal science umbrella was where my true passion for the industry lay. But I also noticed the gap in education in the industry, so I turned my focus to training and education and helping others to be the best therapist they could be. I started this in a well-known Melbourne-based clinic, working with my staff as their manager/clinical trainer, and eventually had the opportunity to move over to The Global Beauty Group as a full-time educator.
With the industry ever-changing and advancing in treatments and techniques, it is so important to make sure that our industry professionals are well informed, and I love being able to pass this knowledge on to others, as well as continuing to develop my own skill set and knowledge base!
After completing my Diploma of Beauty Therapy in 2016, I have been fortunate to work in several cosmetic clinics, working with a vast range of medical-grade devices ranging from lasers, chemical peels, dermabrasion, radio frequency, ultrasound technology and skin needling devices.
The foundation of healthy skin is knowledge; educating clients is essential to achieve optimal skin health. At the Global Beauty Group, our core value is education, and I am so grateful to be one of the Dermal Educators and work within such a beautiful team of people. We are deeply passionate about our delivery for training and love to assist where we can to all our clients. Remember, confidence is key, and knowledge is power
After completing my Diploma in Beauty Therapy, I began my career as a Beauty Therapist in a Day Spa and eventually transitioned into an in-house training role. I later became a Skin Therapist in a cosmedical clinic which has fuelled my passion for advanced aesthetic treatments and given me experience in a wide range of business styles. During my time in the industry, I have worked with a range of machines and treatments, including LED, IPL, laser hair removal, carbon facials, hydro/microdermabrasion, dermal needling, radio frequency, HIFU, cryolipolosis and chemical peels. My personal passions include skin biology, anatomy, product chemistry, scientific principles underpinning various treatment modalities, client consultation/home care advice and education.
My central goal as an educator is to empower with knowledge. Knowledge is the key to treating your clients confidently, which leads to outstanding treatment results, client satisfaction and commercial success. My enthusiasm for learning is infectious! Working as a Dermal Educator is my dream job, and I believe effective communication is the cornerstone of success in training and in industry.

Working on an iPhone is not the ideal environment to complete your training as it has a much smaller screen size and can be more challenging to navigate, especially if you are new to online learning.
