Who’s involved and how the process works
Buying in NYC comes with a few key players, and we’ll make sure you know who’s who. We’ll cover the role of your real estate attorney, building management, and, depending on the property type, condo, co-op, and new development considerations. If a co-op is in the mix, we’ll also touch on board packages and approvals.

A quick note on representation and buyer agreements
We’ll end with a simple conversation about how buyer representation works in New York City. In most cases, the seller pays the buy-side commission, so it is typically not a direct cost to the buyer.
