Congratulations on your engagement! Spring is here, and we couldn't be happier for warmer weather and spring florals. As the wedding season begins, we hope this issue can be a source of inspiration. We are pleased to see 2016 trends popping back up in 2017. Greenery continues to be big this year along with these other nine themes: Garden, Vintage, Barn, Neutral, Tropical, Watercolor, Boho, Forest and Fairy Tale. No matter what theme you pick, we know that it will be fantastic. We hope you enjoy our spring issue.

It's hard NOT to use gold right now and this romantic style completely calls for it. Slightly brushed varieties and mercury glass make gold accents blend with decor like a neutral.

A classically beautiful invite is taken to the next level with details of foil embossment. Pink Letter Day brought those gold accents through to the table with hand-lettered tiles as escort cards and geometric table numbers. The royal purples and magenta florals create a delicate and gorgeous centerpiece with garden fresh flowers spilling out of the vase.

Even these bites of heaven from Molly's Cupcakes have that touch of rustic with torched sugar and a fresh picked berry.

Rustic This year we're seeing Rustic elevated, and that's just what Ephemera and White Willow have done.

Greenier is not going away, it's a cost-effective way to create a lush table for less. Matching sagey green leaves of eucalyptus, succulents and dusty miller softens the entire design. Using a handlettered font in both printed materials and in decor makes it feel personal. And it wouldn't be rustic without natural wood. We adore the succulent party favors for each guest.

Q: How did you get into wedding photography?

A: I started back in high school and studied editorial photography in college. A few close friends asked me to shoot their weddings and I realized how much I enjoyed it. I love connecting with my clients. By the end of a wedding, I’ve built new friendships. Often times I not only get to photograph someone's big day, but I get to witness & photograph their growing families.

Q: What's your favorite thing to shoot at a wedding?

A: The couple! I like shooting them alone to soak in the love from the day. Those are my favorite moments, unscripted and genuine.

Q: Advice for brides?

A: Relax. There will be little things that aren’t perfect, but trust in yourself that you have planned the best you can. Enjoy the 18

day and the love of those around you. It goes by way too fast.

Kelly’s nana is a huge part of her life, she would say her "partner in crime." Andrew knew if he was going to pull off a surprise proposal, Nana had to be there. He made nana a shirt that said, “Will you marry Andrew?” and had her hide in the bathroom. Often when a surprise proposal is planned, a snafu can occur. When Kelly tried to reach Nana and could not, she became pre-occupied with Nana's well-being. When Nana emerged from the bathroom proudly sporting her new tee, Kelly hardly noticed the tee as she was so relieved Nana was all right. The video captures Kelly's expression of worry and concern, not quite the reaction Andrew was hoping for.

Once Kelly realized what was really happening, she assured Andrew the surprise was perfect, and she happily said "yes" to Nana's t-shirt!

BROOKE + SAREK

When you are high school sweethearts, it is difficult to execute a surprise proposal when each is so attuned to the other's every move. Brooke figured things out fairly quickly, which made her even more nervous as the proposal night went on. Surprise or not the answer was the same, YES! When it came to planning their big day, they chose to do what they love … camping! Their love for the outdoors as well as antiques brought their woodsy wedding to life.

They wanted to add some personal touches, so they decided to have a cigar bar since a good cigar is often the way Sarek and his friends hang out and relax. They paired the cigar boxes with succulents to create unique centerpieces that fit with their theme.

The couple really enjoyed the process of decorating their wedding using antiques. Brooke and Sarek share a passion for looking for older things and finding new purposes for them.

Their advice for couples getting married is to make sure you plan together! It’s a great chance to spend time as a couple, especially planning a day all about you.

Brooke's most memorable moment was their first two dances since they couldn't decide on just one song! Sarek's most memorable moment was walking his mom down the aisle because he knew her upcoming hip surgery would not be easy.

Because Brooke and Sarek did not stress over the little things, they were able to appreciate every moment. They thoroughly enjoyed their day and went with the flow.
