Sony and Honda’s Electric Car Unveiled
Sony and Honda have revealed the nearproduction version of their frst electric car under the jointventure brand Afeela, showcasing a luxury sedan aimed at the premium market. The vehicle, unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, is set to debut in the US in mid-2026, with plans to expand to Japan later that year. The Afeela 1 sedan combines Honda’s car manufacturing expertise with Sony’s cutting-edge technology. Measuring 4915mm long, 1900mm wide, and 1461mm tall, it closely rivals the Tesla Model S in size and is larger than the Model 3.
