Through Christ’s death and resurrection, we have new life! The transformation he sparks in us ignites a freedom, empowering us to follow Him. John 8:36 reminds us, “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” Many, however, do not know this type of freedom. They are not only burdened by oppression, but spiritual chains often drenched in addiction and fear. But, because of partners like you, we can walk in obedience to Christ and share the freedom he offers with those worldwide so that they, too, can experience new life.
I am inspired by stories of how Christ’s power has birthed freedom from restraint, whether physical or spiritual. For example, one man, Mr. Seymour was riddled with addictions, but because of the gospel messaged shared on MohabatTV, he not only lives free of addiction, but free of eternal condemnation.
As Romans 8:1 reminds us, “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
What an incredible reminder of the power we have in our Savior! His gift of freedom extends to all who will accept it. We are so grateful that this gift of freedom reaches those in the Middle East because of support from friends like you. May the Lord’s power continue to transcend the darkest places and the depths of souls. Thank you Jesus for freedom!

Embracing Freedom from Addiction
Mr. Seymour's Journey to Redemption
Mr. Seymour’s life spiraled into darkness during a 30-year battle with drug addiction and involvement in prostitution.
Seymour said, “For 30 years, I was addicted to drugs, cigarettes, and unhealthy relationships. My life was falling apart, and I was harming my family. I was thinking about suicide and not working. I left home more than three years ago and was basically homeless.
“I went to a camp to quit drugs, which didn’t help. Then I joined AA meetings, and there I heard about God in the AA classes and became familiar with Him over about a year. One day, I saw the Mohabat channel and contacted you. I told you about my situation, and we prayed for salvation together. Since then, my life has changed. Not only did I quit drugs, but I also stopped smoking. I changed so much that even my son, who suffered a lot because of my mistakes and was stealing motorcycles and cars and ended up in a correctional facility, changed his life after seeing my faith. He no longer steals but serves the Lord and works with me.

Finding Liberation from Despair Ayla's Journey to Wholeness
Ayla’s struggle with severe depression and suicidal thoughts plunged her into a deep abyss of despair. Living in Iran, where mental health resources were scarce, she felt utterly alone in her battle. One night, she had a dream in which a man named Jesus introduced Himself to her and said,
"I have chosen you, so you must free yourself from this self-harm."
Ayla woke up confused, and since she had never heard of Jesus, she went online for a few hours and researched his name. It was then that she came across our website and called to ask more questions. After a long conversation, we prayed with her, and she immediately felt the release of the evil thoughts she had been having. Ayla gave her life to Jesus and continues to call us to be counseled and led in prayer! She said, “I am healed, and Jesus is my joy now!”
Ayla’s story reflects the profound impact of God’s love in dispelling despair and bringing forth hope and healing. Rediscovering Joy through Redemption Cyrus' Triumph over Addiction
Cyrus gave his life to Christ three years ago when he stumbled upon the Mohabat TV channel. He became free from drugs he had been addicted to for 14 years. He asked for a Bible, and since the post takes months to get to his address, he requested a digital copy, which we emailed to him. He printed it, which was very expensive for him, and started reading it, devouring it! He felt much better and was satisfied with his life. It was as if all his problems just melted away. He wasn’t afraid of anything and had exceptional courage to witness to his family and friends about Jesus Christ!

Adel's Journey to Transformation
Mona, one of our counselors, recently shared, “Adel was addicted to drugs and called in for prayer, desperate for help. I prayed with him and led him to receive Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. I continued discipling him and discovered that he was in a relationship with another woman, despite having a wife and children. This led me to keep him in my prayers, asking God to change his ways.

I kept calling and following up with him until one night he was convicted, cried, and repented of his sins. I didn’t expect such humble repentance, but I praised God as I witnessed how the Holy Spirit worked in his life! I still talk to him regularly, sharing with him in prayer and the Gospel messages.”

Darya's journey to faith began amidst the darkness of her son's imprisonment. Desperate for solace, she turned to prayer, seeking comfort during uncertainty. Through our ministry, she encountered the transformative power of God's Word, finding hope in the promises of scripture. Despite her own illiteracy, she clung to the truth found within the pages of the Bible, relying on others to read its words aloud. Miraculously, her son found solace and guidance in scripture upon his release, a testament to the enduring freedom found in Christ. Now, she rejoices in the miraculous work of God, thanking Jesus for His word and miracles!

Setareh's Encounter with Grace
Setareh's journey from adultery to redemption is a powerful testament to the transformative power of God's love. A married Iranian woman with two daughters, caught in a web of infidelity and deceit, she found herself trapped in a cycle of sin and shame. However, a divine encounter with Jesus shattered the chains that bound her, leading to a profound moment of repentance and surrender.
She came across the Mohabat channel one day and started watching a Jesus movie. A few days later, at midnight, while she was sleeping next to her husband, she suddenly woke up feeling the presence of a third person in the room. She got out of bed and saw a rugged, bruised, bleeding man! She woke her husband up and asked him why he hadn’t locked the doors properly, thinking they had an intruder in the house. Her husband looked around the room and the house but didn’t find anyone and went back to sleep. However, Setareh could not go back to sleep. She started remembering what she saw in Jesus’ movies and suddenly saw the rugged, bleeding man again. She recognized him to be Jesus, realizing His blood was shed for her. She repented and asked Jesus to forgive her sins and stayed faithful to her husband. She called us to share her vision and testimony that Jesus loves sinners and wants everyone saved! She is now a strong believer and talks about Jesus everywhere she goes!

Mitra's Journey of Encouragement
Mitra's journey is one of resilience and hope, sustained by the liberating message of the Jesus movie. During life's trials and tribulations, she finds solace in the portrayal of Christ's teachings, drawing strength and inspiration to persevere. Through the ups and downs of life, she clings to the promise that Jesus walks beside her, offering comfort and guidance along the way. Her unwavering faith is a testament to the enduring freedom found in Christ, a beacon of hope in a world filled with darkness. Mitra also shares that her mother, who is illiterate and lacks education received the message of Christ through the movie. As a result, her mother gave her life to Christ!

Liberation from Darkness Anahita's Journey to Light
Anahita was born in Tehran into a devout Islamic family, embracing a strong faith from a young age. However, from the age of 12, she began to suffer immense stress and mental anguish, so severe that she would pull her hair out from the roots, leaving her nearly bald beneath her scarf. Her family arranged her marriage to a Syrian man, who lived a life of sin, filled with adultery and dishonest activities. Anahita found herself utterly dependent on him, yet unable to endure his behavior.
One fateful day, when he had left the house, Anahita attempted suicide, believing she was completely alone and beyond saving. In that dark moment, she heard a voice:
"I am Jesus Christ, the Lord!"
Her initial reaction was to dismiss it, bound by her Islamic beliefs, but the voice grew louder and more insistent until it resonated through her entire being. She looked in the mirror and saw her veins crying out. Desperate, she said, “If you are the Lord, show yourself to me,” and the voice replied, “Look up!” Stepping onto the balcony, she gazed at the sky and saw Jesus Christ alive before her. This divine encounter changed everything.
Anahita abandoned Islam, stopped performing Namaz, and embraced Jesus. She connected with Mohabat Network, where she deepened her understanding of Christianity. Miraculously, all her lost hair grew back, now cascading down to her waist—another testament to God's work in her life. Anahita is profoundly grateful to God and to us, for we continually encourage and pray with her, standing by her side through her transformative journey.
