In Illinois, Transportation Providers of Vans, Mini Buses, SUVs, Limos & Cars must have either Public Transportation or Livery License Plates, State Inspections, and Commercial Insurance. Operators of Motorcoaches must have a USDOT Number, and authority issued under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

This also means that data about a company is readily available for your review on Safer.Fmcsa.Dot.Gov/CompanySnapshot. Ask your carrier for their DOT number, and enter it there.

It will eat away at you and make you look tense in your photos. You have your mind so focused on everything going on that your brain shifts into overdrive. Make sure you remind yourself to find the joy and smile. Your photographer will thank you.

Remember to support each other Don’t focus on the camera.

Focus on having fun, be a little unpredictable and remember to mix in a little playful flirting. This is the best time to show your other-half some fun energy, compliments, and joke around. Make this day a fun adventure filled with laughter and joy. When you open up and have a great time with the person you are marrying it will spark a chemistry that will create great photography.

Bring comfy shoes Your heels will look amazing, but they are not meant for walk-

ing. If your feet are barkin’ you will likely not be in the mood for walking around and taking photos. Make sure you are prepared for walking to those amazing locations for gorgeous pictures.

Keep it together Try to keep everyone in your wedding party together. Shuttles, limos or carpooling is the best option. The perfect first kiss The first kiss is a priceless moment. There are ways to make sure it lives on forever in brilliant photography. Make sure you let that first kiss linger. Do not just kiss for 1/10th of a second. Try to kiss for at least 3 to 5 seconds or do a series of small 1 second kisses. This is going to give you more of an option for that perfect first kiss photo.

No one ever thought they would have to encounter the hurdles that came along with planning a wedding during a pandemic. It has been a huge learning experience to help couples navigate the “new normal” we are all in. Luckily, we did get to see families brought together and love prevail. After all, doesn’t “Love Conquer ALL”?

I think there were several big lessons that each couple had to face head-on in their first challenge of life together. Here are the ones I saw the most of:

Be as flexible as possible! Do not assume that everything will work out and go according to plan. Who knows, “Plan B” may turn out better than “Plan A”!

Ask questions! Ask all kinds of questions to your vendors, your loved ones and friends, and be ready for answers you don’t agree with.

Be upfront with your guests, but don’t be offended if they do not feel the same as you. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, just be respectful.

At the end of the day, remem-

ber the only person in the whole world you want to spend the rest of your life with, is the only thing that matters. Love WINS and you will too if you stay the course and trust things always happen for a reason.

My entire life has been leading me to this career path. I know that sounds corny and cliché, but it’s the

absolute truth. I was a Wedding Photographer for 8 years and created slideshow DVD’s for my clients, using still photographs set to music. I loved the process of creating that story, however there always seemed to be an element missing.

Once I discovered video, I found that missing piece. The magic that comes from capturing video and audio together, and then creating an emotional wedding film that tells the story of the day, is truly amazing. Every wedding is essentially the same, it’s the STORY that makes each one unique. I want to tell that story, and that’s what sets my films apart.

The honor of sharing all the intimate moments of a couples’ wedding

day is something I don’t take for granted. These are special times and only your closest friends and family are allowed to witness them. It’s an amazing gift to be allowed to share in those moments as well. Your wedding day is as important to me as it is to you, and I treat it as such. This job isn’t just about the money, it’s about capturing one of the biggest, most important days in your lives, and then telling YOUR story with music, audio and visuals from the day. I love joking around and laughing with my couples all day long, and I do my best to relieve the stress that always comes with a wedding. Whatever I can do to help with anything, I’m on board, whether that is digging dirt in

I have met so many amazing families and couples since I began this journey, and it means the world to me when a family member reaches out and tells me how much the wedding film meant to them. I want my wedding films to become a tradition for families, a beautiful way to be transported back in time to re-live

their wedding day. My ultimate goal is to make a positive impact on the families I meet along the way, and if I can do that, it means more than all the money in the world.
