Niswonger advises students interested in physical therapy to get exposure to the field while in school, possibly
as a physical therapy aide or technician to see if it’s a good fit. Assisting with the dayto-day operations is a way to “observe it and see it.” He noted getting early physical therapy experience is also a resume builder.
