Kybella:

The name Kybellastands for keoxycholic acid. It is a synthetic version of deoxycholic acid, which your body naturally produces and utilizes to digest and absorb fat cells. A Kybella injection attaches to your undesirable fatty tissue and destroys the cell's outer membrane, killing the cell. When a fat cell dies, its contents are released into the body, where they are processed and eliminated—almost as if they had never existed.

You'll get a seriesof tiny injections behind your chin during a Kybella treatment. Typically, only 1-3 vials are needed to completely cure submental fat (the fat under your chin), but in a few rare cases, some individuals may need more. The size of the region that has to be treated will determine everything. All patients need many sessions of Kybella to achieve optimal outcomes, and sessions typically last 10 to 20 minutes. Most individuals need three to six Kybella treatments to completely cure the region.
