MEDITATION WORKSHOP
Henry Mayo Fitness and Health’s yoga instructor Susan Chapman holds her Master degree in yoga studies along with several yoga therapy certifications. Recently she taught and a meditation workshop class for both members and the surrounding community.

This workshop explored the powerful tool of meditation and its ability to help reduce stress and promote good health. The workshop included a discussion on chronic stress and its effects on both the body and mind, as well as light stretching and simple meditation techniques that can be incorporated into a daily routine. These included:
· Mindfulness meditation
· Mantra meditation
· Breath meditation
· Walking meditation
· Body scan for relaxation
