Unit Dose Solutions What label & Tray should I use with my blister? Knowing that not all oral solid dose pharmaceuticals come packaged from the original manufacturer in unit-of-use or unit dose packaging, we are forced to rely on the extemporaneous packaging of oral solids. We have long recognized this need and carry a wide range of unit dose packaging materials - blisters and labels to provide users the ability to pick the appropriate packaging components that meet their specific criteria. Our Unit Dose Blister and Label product line provides the ability for pharmacists to choose the blister and label combination appropriate to meet their site-specific packaging decision criteria. HCL commissions the performance of USP Package testing to classify all of its packaging materials in accordance with USP Package Class Ratings (USP 27 Section <671>). This testing is rendered to permit an informed judgement regarding the suitability of the package for a particular type of product. We acknowledge that the final package is a combination of the blister material and the lidding (labeling) stock. Input your fill volume, filling speed or time between filling requirements and Precifill Precise Filling Pump does the rest. • Lightweight unit has a small footprint that makes it easy to maintain a neat, clean, organized workflow. There are no bulky pieces of equipment to clutter your workspace or impede your progress. Unit measures 14½"L x 8½"W x 7"H. • Two types of tubing sets available: High Flow (large bore) set, which should be used for solutions that are viscous and/or have fill volumes over 5ml, and Low Flow (small bore) sets, which should be used for non-viscous solutions with fill volumes under 5ml. The tubing set you select is based on fill volume and solution viscosity. Based on an average user and average fill volume, using a medium speed with a non-viscous solution, the range for filling is approximately 600-800 syringes/hr. • To determine accuracy, select a 3mL, 10mL or 30mL BD master IV syringe depending on fill volume and attach it to the end of the pump set. Single samples of master syringe sizes are included. Additional packages sold separately. • Use with the 7" extension set (#18998) when filling unit dose vials to extend to the vial and direct medication into container. • Use with the Oral Slip to Luer Lock Adapter (#7897-50) when filling oral dispensers for maximum efficiency.
