Health and Life Win 2011 SA Telstra Gongs!

Hi Everyone 2011 South Australian Award Winners for Small Business and Social Responsibility We are pleased to announce that Health and Life has been named as a 2011 Telstra South Australian Award Winners in the categories of the MYOB Small Business Award and the Yellow Pages Sensis Social Responsibility Award.

We are now national Award Finalists for both Award categories to be announced in Melbourne on the 26th of August 2011 see http://bit.ly/nXWS5Q. Congratulations to all Award Finalists and Winners. Thank you to the SA judges and Telstra, MYOB and Yellow Pages Sensis for a fantastic night.

Against the odds and to my surprise, we achieved the most categories including overall SA Business of the Year Award Finalist, however we did miss out on the overall SA Business of the Year Award to Beerenberg who are very deserving winners. Congratulations to Beerenberg jam!

A Big Thank you to You! A special thanks to our hardworking and committed clients, staff and friends of Health and Life that have made this possible.

To our clients From time to time clients would tell me that when they are recruiting doctors, providers, staff and practice owners they see it as a positive thing that Health and Life are involved in the establishment and ongoing accounting, taxation and practice management advice that we give to the practice. This includes confirming whether worlds best practice operating standards are being met and any other practices opportunities are being secured without having to worry about it.

We hope these Awards further validates your decision to use Health and Life. They can only add to the bragging rights that your practice has worked hard to achieve when recruiting and retaining doctors, providers and staff in your practice. Due to your success we have been successful on this occasion. Success breeds success. We see these Awards as something we have achieved together with you and not just by ourselves. We believe this got us over the line for the Yellow Pages Social Responsibility Award. Thank you to these organisations for having us on board and giving us the opportunity to make a real difference to them and in the community. We dedicated this Award to all volunteers in Australia.

The One Moment Foundation Launch This Award kicks off our One Moment Foundation which focuses on health and financial literacy projects in the community. To begin with we are targeting adolescent kids and people in lower socio-economic backgrounds.

The objective is to use successful role models from different walks of life who have come from the “school of hard knocks” that can act as a powerful catalyst in the minds of all people to become more aspirational to succeed despite the challenges that they may be facing.
